Forget Donald Trump.

Go after those that aided and abetted, and were complicit, in his crimes.

Take Trump out of the equation. Charge all the others that betrayed our country and carried the water for Trump's desire to hold power.

Go after those that told the Big Lie about the election and those that broke election laws.

Go after those that organized a rebellion against our country.

Go after those that defied lawful subpoenas from the Congress of the United States.

Go after those that knew the truth but chose to cover it up.

Go after those that conspired to overturn a fair and legal election.

For the time being, forget Trump.

Charge those that committed crimes for him and betrayed our country.

Then, go after Trump.

In my opinion, that would be the best way to handle this investigation.

That dangerous moment when everything is accepted as "normal".

Even the lies are no longer disputed. People are worn down by the constant propaganda. The most absurd comments are not even challenged anymore. The people are tired.

Is that where we are today?

That is the goal of authoritarians. The citizens become numb and cynical. Rather than argue anymore, they just become silent. They no longer have the energy or the will to fight.

When and if that happens, the war is lost.

What is the best "issue" for Democrats to run on in 2022?

The economy? Joe Biden's Administration has created more jobs than any in history in their first nine months in office. But, they do not get any credit. Most of the jobs were lost during the height of the pandemic. And they get little credit for improving that situation either. The country seems to be reaching near herd immunity? This winter season will likely tell the tale.

So, if the Democrats cannot run on the economy or the improved condition with the Covid, what is left for them to run on?

The January 6th Insurrection? Or have all minds made up on what they think about what happened on January 6th? Is it a viable political issue? Or should it be?

What about the betrayal of Republicans toward our Constitution and our democracy? They have shown themselves to be very unpatriotic. They are working to tear down our institutions and our democracy, even as we speak. They have divided the nation unlike any time since the Civil War.

What issue would you choose to run on?

Their actions belie their words.

They pretend to be patriotic. They pretend they love this country. But it is all a charade.

They attack our Capitol and their leaders are silent. They make no effort to defend our democracy. To the contrary, they tear down our democracy.

They show themselves willing to let our country go under, with their recent attempt to default on the debt of our nation. They knew what the consequences would be and they simply did not care.

They disrespect our flag and what it stands for. They have shown themselves to be unpatriotic and divisive to the detriment of our country.

Perhaps it is no big deal?

The disgraced former president continues his Rodney Dangerfield tour.

I tell you, he gets no respect.

The lies poured out of him like diarrhea out of a goose.

He cannot accept the fact that he lost the last election. And he doesn't want anyone else to accept that fact either. But, he is a loser.

He is a pitiful excuse for a stand-up comedian. His schtick is wearing thin with a lot of people.
It's time to put it to rest.

There were very few he did not attack or blame for his presently sad predicament. He doesn't want people to know the truth so he continues to feed them lies. He is angry at Joe Biden for not giving him "executive privilege". He is angry at Mitch McConnell for not shutting down the government over the debt limit, much of which he created in his disastrous four years.

Numerous times, he made up numbers to prove to his gullible followers that he had been cheated out of the last election, almost a year ago. He cannot seem to get over it. He appeared to be an angry, old fart, ready to be hauled off in a strait-jacket.

Under what circumstances does Mike Pence think he can win the Republican nomination?

Talk about delusional!

The cult hates him as much as any Democrat that might run in 2024. After all, they were going to hang him.

What makes him think they would ever vote for him? They want to kill him.

He is doing his best to get on their best side. He is telling them that 1/6 was just one day and we have to look at the big picture. Sort of like the Saudis telling you that 9/11 was just one day. Get over it.

But, the Cult wants to know why he didn't declare Trump the President when he had a chance. That was unforgivable in their eyes. Mike Pence is dead to them.

There are a lot of billionaires out there. Which would make a good owner?

It could make a huge difference on the discourse in this country.

First order of business: Get rid of Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. And work down from there. They are enemies of the truth and democracy.
