Jury is "95%" Democrat...

Therefore, the Defendant cannot get a fair trial.

Imagine going to a trial and asking that no Republicans be permitted on your jury. Because they cannot issue a fair verdict.

Trump accused his Manhattan jury of being "95%" Democrat in an interview a couple of days ago.

Why don't we just divide the country down the middle between Democrats and Republicans so that Donald Trump can get a fair shake?

What a sad view of this country.

Trump keeps saying, "I should be out campaigning..."

No. He shouldn't be out campaigning anywhere. Not even for dogcatcher. He disqualified himself when he tried to overturn an election and overthrow the government.

He complains that he has to sit in a "freezing" courtroom and be treated like a common criminal. He whines about everything because he is being held accountable.

He should be in jail. End of story.

The way I see it...

What is happening in Gaza is a tragedy. One doesn't have to be on one side or the other to see that.

It is reported that 15,000 children have been killed since the Israeli invasion or since the massacre at the music festival, whichever point of injury is important to you.

But, the problem as I see it is Netanyahu. He has somehow persuaded many Israelis, perhaps the majority, that the only way they will ever have security is to destroy Gaza and the Hamas entirely. They must be completely annihilated. There is no other option. Unfortunately, many Israelis agree with him.

In my opinion, the world cannot go along with the view of Benjamin Netanyahu. They must intervene. An eye for an eye and a massacre for a massacre is not the answer.

In the movie, "Men In Black", they read the National Enquirer for the "real" news...

My kingdom for my own media operation...

Donald Trump knew the value of information, whether it was true or not, whether it was "fake" or not. That was why he befriended David Pecker. He was of value to him. He could print all positive stories about Trump and all negative stories about his political opponents, which he did with enthusiasm. And Trump paid him for his efforts.

How is that different from Trump's present relationship with FOX News? They do nothing but positive stories on Trump. They agree to do nothing but negative stories on Joe Biden and his political enemies. But how are they paid?

They know that their ratings will remain high so long as they report positively on Trump. His followers will watch their network over all the others. Ratings equal money. That is how they are paid.

In my opinion, Trump only swapped National Enquirer for FOX News because they served the same purpose for him. FOX News is very similar to National Enquirer.

Relatively speaking, this trial seems rather trivial compared to the other charges against Trump.

Although a crime is a crime, somehow it doesn't measure up to the charges of an attempted coup with election fraud or stealing our nation's deepest secrets.

It seems inconsequential when compared to the election fraud in the 2020 election. The threats to the Georgia election officials seem to be much more serious. The fraudulent forms and fake election officials in the several battleground states appear to be much more serious charges.

The stealing of our nation's secrets and moving them to Mar-a-Lago and then hiding them from the FBI and refusing to turn them over almost seems like a capital offense, punishable by death. But, for the time being, all of them are on a back burner, as we focus our attention on the salacious details of Stormy Daniels and the National Enquirer stories.

Can someone be removed from prison to testify before a jury?

Could Alan Weiselberg be called to testify in the Trump trial?

That would be a kicker, wouldn't it?

Half of the nation is afflicted with the Trump Derangement Syndrome...

...and the other half has no option but to react to it.

It's like a burglar has gotten into your home and he has a gun. It's impossible to focus on anything else until the burglar is gone.

The only choice is to surrender or to fight back.

Those afflicted by TDS are unstable. They do not care for this country. They do not care for their neighbors. They are mentally ill. They are a threat to society.

The truth about Mike Johnson.

Democrats were his only hope of staying on as Speaker.

He very much feared that his Party would remove him, just like they did Kevin McCarthy. And the movement was afoot. He could have been gone today?

He knew he did not have the votes to stay on as Speaker if a vote was taken. He would either lose to a Democrat or another Republican.

He also knew that Democrats wanted a vote on the aid to Ukraine and Israel.

So he played the only card that was left him.

It had nothing to do with courage. It was about self-survival.

And the MAGA's can do nothing about it.

The most important thing is not that Donald Trump is found guilty.

It is that he has gone to trial at all.

Judge Juan Merchan has done a miraculous job bringing Trump to court. In the process, he may have saved American democracy.

Because, without justice for all, there can be no democracy. We should not minimize the great job that this Judge has done.

The justice system does not require a guilty verdict to work. It only requires a jury of your peers in a court of law.

This week, the justice system has worked.

"Another fine mess you've gotten us into, Donald"...

Republicans may find themselves with a nominee that has been convicted, when they have their convention in July?

Yet, they keep on digging the hole.

With the recent proclamations of Bill Barr, Mitch McConnell, and Chris Sununu, one might assume that the Republican Party has gone all in on Donald Trump. It doesn't matter what happens between now and election day.

The Party has signed on.

Now, they have no choice but to defend his every crime and utterance.

They were once a Party. They are now a cult. They are accomplices. They are liars.
