Segregated police forces?

White cops are hated in black neighborhoods so why are they there?

Hire enough black cops to police African-American neighborhoods.

The culture of present-day policemen is that they want to tell everyone to "get on the ground!" Even if it is for a burnt-out brake light. Is that really necessary?

They want to use their pepper spray and guns if given the opportunity.

It is part of their violent and dominating culture.

Something has to be done.

Where's Elvis when you need him?

They said they wanted someone to shake up the politics in Washington. Well, it does appear they were successful. But, why did they threaten our country in the process? I guess they see our democracy as very strong and not threatened at all? They do not see the democracy as fragile.

The people get a vote.

Most effective strategy? Run against Republicans or run against Trump?

Or both?

In my opinion, it would be better to ignore Trump, as much as possible. His supporters are more likely to blame other Republicans than to blame their hero, Donald Trump. Few minds will be changed by attacking Trump. We have seen that in the polls. He may temporarily go down but his numbers always return to his base support.

In my opinion, it would be more effective to attack individual Republicans. Republicans will be less likely to vote for incumbent Republicans during a recession or bad economic times, except for Donald Trump. The economy will have little impact on whether or not his supporters stick with him. As the leader of their cult, he has a certain immunity that other Republicans do not have.

Just my opinion.

The truth, hidden behind deceit and lies, is unrecognizable.

It is the truth that will set you free.

All Administrations tend to hide the truth, to some extent. Usually, it is to prevent embarrassment of some sort.

However, we are in a different time. The "truth" is something that we, the people, have no right to know.

Unfortunately, there are consequences from withholding the truth from the people. It breeds anger and distrust. To hide information from the people, that is needed to function as a good government, is reprehensible.

Also, it creates a paranoia that divides the country.

Why haven't the people gotten the information they need? Because it is hidden.

This resentment creates a division that must be repaired if we are to survive this crisis.

It is the Republican Party that has prevented the people from getting the information that we all need, including themselves. They have prevented testimony from witnesses in an impeachment trial. That alone is unforgivable.

They have also obstructed an official investigation, which they themselves created, in order to protect their president.

Primarily led by Mitch McConnell, they have deprived all of us of our right to freedom of information.

The truth will not be hidden forever. It will eventually come forth and there will be a price to pay for those that are criminal in their intent. I do believe that our freedoms are at stake.
