The Mueller story today has caused a lot of Republican prominents to torch their hair...

It started early in the morning with Rudy Giuliani. Morning Joe was still waking up. He made some wisecrack about Mueller not being able to "make up his mind".

Soon thereafter, there was Trump himself, coddling back up to FOX News, with Maria Bartoromo. She could barely get a question in sideways. Trump's wig was burning. He said Mueller had deleted emails from the lovers and it was illegal. Surely if there is one person that knows the law, it would be Donald Trump??

Rush took the torch hand-off and continued the attack upon Robert Mueller by claiming that it was an attack upon Donald Trump. Only recently has he taken the "Hot Lips" trophy from Sean Hannity. He said Democrats were happy that they found the body of the young father and his baby girl. He clarified to say that the Democrats were not happy they were dead but they were happy because it gave them more of a reason to attack Donald Trump?? WTH!

Now, we read that Rep. Mark Meadows has sent a warning to Robert Mueller, if he decides to show up for the hearing. He accused the life-long Republican of cozying up to the Democrats, and that they sent him a "friendly subpoena".

All in all, it appears that Mueller's announcement really got under their skin?

Telling the truth about Republicans

"The Senate would never vote to impeach."

That's OK. The Senate has never voted to impeach a President.

That should not deter the Democrats from doing their job.

We have a corrupt and criminal reprobate sitting in the White House and the Republicans defend him at every turn.

Republicans are complicit in covering up the crimes of this Administration, Democrats should not fear political retaliation for standing up to Trump and the Republicans.

Even if they choose to impeach the lying criminal in the White House, they should not fear the Republicans in the next election. Republicans should be forced to defend their positions where they are in step with Mr Trump.

There is no way in hell they can spin the actions of this White House in a way that will be convincing to a majority of Americans. Republicans are complicit and should be called on it. Democrats should come down on them like a sledgehammer. Democrats would be rewarded for telling the truth about Republicans.

Donald Trump says his campaign was spied upon...may be the biggest scandal in history.

And they got caught!

This is what Trump was saying on FOX News this morning. It was the first time he had been on for quite some time. He had appeared on ABC, CBS, and NBC since his last visit to FOX. Perhaps he was trying to send them a message?

But, did the FBI or the Obama Administration "spy" on his campaign? If not, why not? When General Flynn was caught communicating with the Russians and lied about it, shouldn't that have raised a lot of red flags?

He should have been surveilled. They would not have been doing their job if they had not "spied" upon him. He gave them every reason to. Who did he talk with when he was alone at Camp David this past weekend? No doubt, his secret communications continue.

Let's hope someone is still "spying" on him. He is not a friend of America.

The "Ugly American" has never been uglier.

With many of our allies and former allies, America has descended to the similar depths as North Korea, Saudi Arabia, the Philippines, and other dictatorships around the world.

The "Ugly American" is no longer a leader in human rights around the world. They see the humanitarian crisis on our border much differently than most Americans do. They suspect the Trump White House was involved in the murder of Adnan Khasoggi, the journalist murdered by Saudi assassins. They see an America closer to Vladimir Putin and the criminal oligarchs than to our allies of the last 75 years.

If America does nothing about those now leading our country, the "ugly American" will be the standard we will carry into the future, after Trump and his criminal cabal are gone.

The damage has been done.

How much can the Trump White House tear down Robert Mueller in the next three weeks?

Rudy Giuliani has already started. He felt compelled to let everyone know that Mueller "could not make up his mind".

No doubt, they will do all within their power to destroy whatever credibility Robert Mueller has remaining.

Bill Barr will probably make another appearance to let everyone know that it was his call and he and Mr Rosenstein did not find enough evidence to charge Mr Trump with collusion or obstruction. Of course, if he had read the Report, he would have known that Mr Mueller was not looking for "collusion", but rather, conspiracy.

However, Mr Mueller's testimony could be very important as to whether or not Mr Trump is ever impeached? His responses about obstruction will be key to which direction Congress will go from here?

Everybody knows that Donald Trump is a corrupt and criminal president. The only question remaining is whether or not anyone is ready to hold him accountable?

Mr Guiliani has already begun the next phase of their obstruction.

Here's How Many Bernie Sanders Supporters Ultimately Voted For Trump

From NPR: (August 2017)

<snip>

Fully 12 percent of people who voted for Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., in the 2016 Democratic presidential primaries voted for President Trump in the general election. That is according to the data from the Cooperative Congressional Election Study — a massive election survey of around 50,000 people. (For perspective, a run-of-the-mill survey measuring Trump's job approval right now has a sample of 800 to 1,500.)

<snip>
To answer the question that many Clinton supporters may be asking: By this data, yes — there are enough of those Sanders-Trump voters who could have potentially swung the election toward Clinton and away from Trump.

Women Are A Huge Reason Why Trump's Poll Numbers Are So Bad

Specifically, if the Sanders-Trump voters in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania had voted for Clinton, or even stayed home on Election Day, those states would have swung to Clinton, and she would have won 46 more electoral votes, putting her at 278 — enough to win, in other words.

But then, it's not as simple as that. First off, this counterfactual world in which these voters didn't vote for Trump rests on a few ifs. If the Sanders-Trump voters in these three states had defected and if nothing else had happened to somehow take electoral votes from Clinton elsewhere and if this survey is correct ... then yes, Clinton would have won. (Some would also argue that if Clinton had campaigned more in the so-called "blue wall" states, she also could have picked up more votes.)

Insanity is contagious (Catch-22)

Step by step, day by day, America has been successfully de-sensitized to truth and reality.

Nothing is "normal" anymore. The key to it all is to divide the people between "them" and "us". Lies and deceptions become the common currency.

Similar to Germany in the 1930's, the victims of this deception are willing to accept the most insane propositions, in order to validate their insanity as "normal". They believe it is for the common good.

Every day, our sensibilities are attacked. Soon, we reach the point where there is nothing to compare it to. Everything becomes "normal". The demonization of political opponents becomes so strong that many Americans are unable to distinguish fact from fiction, truth from lies.

The division of America is almost complete. Acceptance becomes the substitute for opposition. Hope becomes the dream of the future. The will to defend our Constitution and our laws slowly disappear.

America is on a downward descent which began when Donald Trump stepped off his golden escalator to announce his candidacy for president. Many people stayed on the escalator and descended into the basement and an unknown darkness, which they believed they wanted and needed to change the status quo of their government.

There can be no compromise with such attacks. Sensible people must defend themselves and speak out more loudly than ever before. They must fight back with whatever means necessary and available.

Walmart is quietly closing stores -- here's the full list

Could it be an indicator of something bigger going on in our economy? Could the giant, Walmart, be the small canary in the coal mine?
=======================

https://www.businessinsider.com/walmart-stores-closing-list-2019-3

Walmart is closing or has already closed at least 17 stores across 11 US states and Canada.

The stores include Walmart Supercenters and Neighborhood Market stores in Texas, Louisiana, Indiana, Arizona, California, Kansas, South Carolina, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Virginia, and Washington.

The closing date for most of the affected stores was April 19, according to employees of those stores, who confirmed the closings to Business Insider. A store in Bedford, New Hampshire, is expected to close in June, and another in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, is expected to close in July.

What is the best solution for the immigration problem?

Perhaps the Congress should get involved??

Everybody knows that Donald Trump said that "only he could fix it", but it should now be obvious to everyone, that he cannot fix it.

What should be done? Send the National Guard to the border in larger numbers? Carry supplies?

Let the military handle the asylum process? Perhaps there are not enough judges in the system to handle the size of the problem?

Congress does need to get involved, in my opinion.
