The Attorney-General, William Barr, made a public statement yesterday about his "special investigator", John Durham. He announced that Mr Durham was unlikely to pursue "criminal charges" against Joe Biden or Barack Obama for the "crime" committed against Donald Trump. Really!
Well, here's a deal for you, Mr Barr. The next Congress, hopefully a Democratic House and Senate, with a Democratic President, will appoint a "special investigator" just for you. How does that sound?
They will investigate why you lied about the Mueller Report and why you didn't investigate all the crimes that were going on around you? And why you felt it necessary to be the lawyer for Donald Trump, rather than the Attorney General for all the people of this country?
They are not likely to pursue "criminal charges", unless they are so blatant and obvious that they have no choice. But what they can do, is to keep the investigation going right up to the next election. And keep it over your head like an axe ready to fall. Surely you will have no problem with that?
If you are looking for sympathy, Mr Barr, and hoping that Democrats will put everything aside in the interest of "bringing the country together", I sincerely hope you are wrong. Your crimes and those of Donald Trump are too much to sweep under the rug. My hope is that a "Special Investigator" will turn over every rock and expose you for just what you are?

The Trump administration has created a new and expansive national security watchlist that, for the first time since 9/11, includes Americans who have no connection to terrorism. The new watchlist, authorized through a classified Attorney General order and launched in 2017, is expected to grow to well over one million names. It also allows the government to track and monitor Americans without a warrant, even when there is no evidence they're breaking the law.
And while two separate laws require the government to announce new systems of data collection of Americans, there has been no acknowledgement of the expanded watchlist.
The criteria to be placed on the new watchlist demands that an individual be associated with "transnational" criminal organizations, including front organizations that are actually foreign government entities. Transnational criminal organizations include not just drug cartels, crime syndicates and gangs, but also political groups such as nationalist parties and information activists. Individuals can be watchlisted when they are suspected of corruption, money laundering, computer hacking, stock market manipulation, health care fraud, even wildlife trafficking.
Government officials familiar with the new watchlist say that it will eventually include tens of thousands of Americans, reaching into more than a hundred cities across the United States.

The State Department inspector general who was fired by President Donald Trump late Friday night was investigating the president’s effort to sell weapons to Saudi Arabia without congressional approval, according to the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
The revelation adds another layer to Trump’s decision to sack Steve Linick, who was also looking into claims that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and his wife improperly directed political appointees to run personal errands for him, including walking his dog and picking up his dry cleaning.
“[Linick’s] office was investigating — at my request — Trump’s phony declaration of an emergency so he could send weapons to Saudi Arabia,” Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) said in a statement to POLITICO. “We don’t have the full picture yet, but it’s troubling that Secretary Pompeo wanted Mr. Linick pushed out before this work could be completed.”
Engel’s panel swiftly launched an investigation into Linick’s firing over the weekend alongside New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. The lawmakers have demanded that the White House, the State Department, and the inspector general’s office turn over all documents related to Linick’s firing by Friday.

Even during a pandemic when everyone should be united, Donald Trump finds a way to tear people apart.
When we all should be working together to defeat this deadly virus, he finds a way to divide us.
He acts as if he knows more than all the doctors and all the scientists in the world. The chaos and confusion overwhelms the senses.
It is insanity.
But there is no reasoning. Many of the cult are intent on plunging into the darkness, as their Leader insists on undying loyalty. Blind obedience to a cult of personality.
The only solution seems to be to see this disaster to its end. There is no resolution so long as the nut-house is calling the shots.
There'll be no teardrops tonight
Republicans have nothing to say about it. It's not their job?
They don't believe in oversight, unless it is Democrats they are over-seeing.
Trump can fire all the IG's he wants and it makes no never-mind to them.
He can lie his ass off about Joe Biden and Barack Obama and they have nothing to say about it.
He can lie about the cupboard being bare and they are silent.
He can dispute the W.H.O. and the CDC on the coronavirus, and they are all OK with that.
Republicans are pretty much useless.
Should I Stay Or Should I Go
Right-wing illusions and fantasies about "freedom".
They are protesting for "freedom".
The government is trying to take their guns. We need to "drain the swamp".
The "liberal left Democrats" have destroyed our nation.
So, in their minds, it is totally alright if the government collapses around their ankles. It wasn't their government. It belonged to someone else. If Donald Trump tears down the government institutions, then they stand side-by-side with him.
Anything would be better than what they had under Barack Obama. Somehow they has surrendered their freedoms to some socialist cabal? They were ready to overthrow it.
They have convinced themselves that whatever happens under Donald Trump is better than what we had before. They have convinced themselves that the grass is much greener now, although in reality, the grass has turned brown.
They live with these fantasies and under the illusion that they now have more "freedom". The truth of the matter is that they are paving the way to take away our freedoms. They have based their entire political philosophy on an illusion.
Why it is worse than they say?
Donald Trump says we have done more testing than anyone and that is why we have more cases. Is that why we also have more deaths?
HHS Sec Azar said much the same this morning on Jake Tapper's show. We have more cases because we have done more testing. Tapper then asked, "How about the deaths?"
If indeed, other countries are not doing as much testing as the U.S., then it is very likely that they have had many more deaths than have been reported?
Worldwide, if we use the rationale of the White House, the reason there have not been more deaths from coronavirus is because there have not been more tests. That means the number of deaths in this country is likely much higher than has been reported.
By their own words, it is much worse than we have been told.
Can they really not see the corruption and the criminality?
Are they really that brain-washed or are they just stupid?
Do they really hate the "liberals" that much?
Do they really want to "drain the swamp" that they perceive to be the corruption?
Or are they just pretending to be stupid? Anybody with eyes can see the incompetence, the lies, the self-adoration, the lack of empathy, the dangerous way with words and actions, the total unfitness for the office, and the threat to all of America. Either you are part of the solution or you are part of the problem.
Do they really see a genius, a leader, someone that "tells it like it is", someone with the best interests of America at heart?
No one can really be that stupid, can they?
