Patriots and Nazi Flags?

April 22, 2020

I heard it reported a while earlier that there had been no cases in Michigan today?

If they could go for two weeks without any reports of the virus, should they open up, but with recommendation to continue to wear mask?

If they can make it two weeks without any incidents, that would be very good, would it not?

To paraphrase Reagan: "I'm from the government and I'm here to kill you".

This is not the time for incompetence in government but we have it in abundance.

We need government. And we need competence.

It is easy to blame Donald Trump. He is such an easy target.

But, that allows those that work to destroy our government the freedom to slither away from any criticism. We know who they are - they are Republicans. They are Mitch McConnell.

Of course they support Donald Trump! He lets them get a free ride.

It is as true today as it was during the time of Ronald Reagan. Those that hate government cannot govern.

There is a lesson there for all that wish to see.

We need leaders with foresight and vision.

Protect our farmers. Do not pour milk upon the ground. Put money into making cheese, if not for our own people, then for the people around the world that will be starving, and are starving at this moment. Do not kill the chickens to drive up the price of eggs.

Stop the bailouts for the wealthy and the big corporations. Bailout the people of this country. They created this wealth. Our priority is not to protect the greedy and the wealthy.

Our leaders need to recognize that circumstances can get worse and need to have the foresight to prepare for those contingencies. First of all, they need to prioritize the needs of our people.

Proverbs 29:18 King James Version (KJV)

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.

There is one political person that could rid this country of Donald Trump.

It is not Chuck Schumer. It is not Nancy Pelosi. If it were possible, it would already have been done.

It is not John Roberts or the Supreme Court.

It is the Majority Leader of the US Senate.

If he had a sense of history and cared about our nation, he could do it. He knows as well as anyone else that Donald Trump is not fit to be the President of the United States.

He could get at least half of his caucus to vote along with him, if he so desired. Those that are not up for re-election in 2020 understand the dangerous strategy of keeping Trump in power. So that they can possibly win re-election for the couple of dozen Senators that are running in 2020, they do nothing, as their nation dies on the vine.

McConnell could get it done. If he had a sense of history and how he is going to be perceived by historians and the US public, he would do the honorable thing and protect his country from the domestic threat it now faces.

He could work in a bi-partisan way to correct course and put this country back on a path to healing. But it would require sacrifice. And sacrifice is obviously not in Mitch's vocabulary.

Politicians cannot thwart the will of the people.

We should not make the mistake that it is only the Trump cult that is protesting. In my opinion, people are becoming desperate and frustrated with the shutdown.

As a nation, we may decide to follow the example of Sweden, and return to "business as usual". It is a huge gamble but one that desperate people are willing to take.

The danger is in a possible second wave, which has historically been more deadly than the first. It could be a very tragic decision.

But it is the people that will decide if they want to end the lockdown, not the politicians. People without food or jobs can become desperate and unpredictable.

There is a growing number of people that have scoffed at this virus and have later succumbed to its attack. It is nothing to be trifled with.

We hope and pray there is not a second wave and thst we can all get back to some normality, as soon as possible.

Bio-Chemical Research

The Wuhan Laboratory is one of those locations where different viruses and pathogens are studied and possible solutions and vaccines are researched and developed. Even the U.S. contributed to this project.

But somehow one of those deadly viruses escaped. It was traced to the bats that lived in a cave near Wuhan and ended up at a "wet market" in Wuhan. There were complaints that they were lax with their security.

They discovered that they could not control it. It spread around the world. Only when it hit New York and people began to die by the thousands did our country get serious about it.

There was little doubt with the experts, that in January this virus could spread around the world and no one would be able to escape it. Preparations should have started then. But there were distractions and arrogant disregard for the facts and we are where we are today.

IT'S A CULT !

Should that be in all CAPS?

Sending "his" people out into the streets, when the doctors and scientists had not yet cleared the terrain, was analogous to handing them a cup full of grape kool-aid.

Most of the protestors had heard about the virus. Some of them may have been fearful about protesting? When Trump told them to "Liberate" those states, they waded into the virus. They knew that gave them license to do whatever they chose to do? That it was somehow safe to go out. They don't know it but they volunteered to be guinea pigs. (I doubt they knew it.)

But we may not know all the circumstances? Maybe they lost their jobs? Maybe they had no food at home? Maybe they were just part of the cult? We don't know the complete story.

However, by the actions of the protestors on the streets, my money is on CULT.
