The Democrats have no plan to rush into impeachment.
But there may come a time very soon where they will have to take a more serious look?
First of all, they want to hear from Robert Mueller. They need to hear what his views are on obstruction and a few other matters in his report.
Also, they plan on issuing several subpoenas to the Justice Dept. Most likely, the Trump Justice Dept will continue the WH plan to obstruct at every turn. When that happens, Democrats will need to re-evaluate their position on impeachment, in my opinion.
In the meantime, they will be patient in the face of louder and louder calls for battle.
Trump says "Crazy Mueller Report" is "total bullshit"!
Watching CNN this morning with Jim Jordan and Mark Meadows jovially mocking the Mueller Report, it is very clear what Donald Trump and his Republican supporters think about the Mueller Report.
It may as well have been written in invisible ink. If they read the Report, they comprehended none of it. It was a waste of $25 million and two years of time.
What can you do to try and communicate with people so devoid of common sense or decency?
I have my own ideas but I'm sure many would disagree with me.
Should Congress follow the advice of Robert Mueller?
In one of his conclusions, he said " that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.”
He is saying that Congress has a role in our system of checks and balances. Indeed, they may apply the obstruction laws so that presidential powers accord with our Constitution.
And that "no person is above the law".
In this voluminous and historical record, Robert Mueller has given the Democrats a map to follow. Will they follow it?
Leave the cheese in the trap....the rat will be back.
It's just a matter of time.
Donald Trump will be emboldened by the cocoon woven by his new Attorney General. But we should not believe that somehow he has gotten religion and will change his attitude toward the laws or his criminal inclinations. He always returns for another bite of the cheese.
He will break the law again. He will abuse his power. He will obstruct again. He has not changed. It is his nature.

............................................. The Scorpion and the Frog......................................
One day, a scorpion looked around at the mountain where he lived and decided that he wanted a change. So he set out on a journey through the forests and hills. He climbed over rocks and under vines and kept going until he reached a river.
The river was wide and swift, and the scorpion stopped to reconsider the situation. He couldn't see any way across. So he ran upriver and then checked downriver, all the while thinking that he might have to turn back.
Suddenly, he saw a frog sitting in the rushes by the bank of the stream on the other side of the river. He decided to ask the frog for help getting across the stream.
"Hellooo Mr. Frog!" called the scorpion across the water, "Would you be so kind as to give me a ride on your back across the river?"
"Well now, Mr. Scorpion! How do I know that if I try to help you, you wont try to kill me?" asked the frog hesitantly.
"Because," the scorpion replied, "If I try to kill you, then I would die too, for you see I cannot swim!"
Now this seemed to make sense to the frog. But he asked. "What about when I get close to the bank? You could still try to kill me and get back to the shore!"
"This is true," agreed the scorpion, "But then I wouldn't be able to get to the other side of the river!"
"Alright then...how do I know you wont just wait till we get to the other side and THEN kill me?" said the frog.
"Ahh...," crooned the scorpion, "Because you see, once you've taken me to the other side of this river, I will be so grateful for your help, that it would hardly be fair to reward you with death, now would it?!"
So the frog agreed to take the scorpion across the river. He swam over to the bank and settled himself near the mud to pick up his passenger. The scorpion crawled onto the frog's back, his sharp claws prickling into the frog's soft hide, and the frog slid into the river. The muddy water swirled around them, but the frog stayed near the surface so the scorpion would not drown. He kicked strongly through the first half of the stream, his flippers paddling wildly against the current.
Halfway across the river, the frog suddenly felt a sharp sting in his back and, out of the corner of his eye, saw the scorpion remove his stinger from the frog's back. A deadening numbness began to creep into his limbs.
"You fool!" croaked the frog, "Now we shall both die! Why on earth did you do that?"
The scorpion shrugged, and did a little jig on the drownings frog's back.
"I could not help myself. It is my nature."
Then they both sank into the muddy waters of the swiftly flowing river.
Did Senator Richard Blumenthal just expose some "unredacted" information??
He was on Ari Melber's show and was talking about Don McGahn and KT McFarland.
He said that Trump had asked McGahn to put a letter in his file stating that he (Trump) did not ask McGahn to fire Mueller?? I had not heard that or read that. If that is true, it would show intent to cover-up a crime of obstruction.
Also, Blumenthal said that when McFarland was going to be appointed as Ambassador to Switzerland (?), that Trump had requested that she write a memo stating that he did not know about General Flynn's discussions with the Russians?
In my opinion, both of those examples from Senator Blumenthal show obstruction with intent to cover-up.
Trump would not have asked for a letter disputing his requests if he did not think they were illegal.
The Bottom Line
It is up to Nancy and the Democrats.
Otherwise, Donald Trump is going to walk. No one else can hold him accountable.
The Democrats must make a decision. Do they want to impeach or do they want this to be decided by the election in 2020?
If they do not wish to impeach, everything from here forward is just politics.
It will not be an honorable precedent if they choose politics over truth and justice.
And there is no guarantee that Donald Trump will not win re-election in 2020.
And there is no guarantee that the American people will have received all the information they needed to make an educated choice.
Bill Barr is not going to resolve this crisis. Neither is Bob Mueller. It is up to Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats. If they choose not to act, then we may as well reel in our lines and go home.

Mueller will educate the Congress on the Constitution.
He will tell them why there is a rule in the DOJ that a sitting President cannot be indicted.
It would be unconstitutional.
The Constitution sits out a process to "indicting" and prosecuting a sitting President.
The only process to rid ourselves of a criminal President while he sits in office is by impeachment in the House and conviction in the US Senate.
Anybody else or any other Department of government that attempted to indict or convict a sitting President would be going against our Constitution.
A sitting President cannot be indicted until he is impeached and convicted.
That is the law and that is why Mueller could not indict Donald J Trump.
