kentuck's JournalTrump likes to dish it out but he can't take it.
He is a cry-baby wimp.
He gets angry when he doesn't get his way.
He can't stand the idea that the Democrats are going to investigate him.
They have a lot of gall to ask for his tax returns and his financial records.
It's been a one-way street for him up 'til now but that is about to change.
Diaper Don will be dragging around a big load...
Where are the Republicans??
Our country has been attacked and they say nothing. Robert Mueller was hired to investigate and concluded that the Russian attack upon our elections was "sweeping and systematic". Yet, nothing from Mitch McConnell and the Republicans. Also, nothing from Donald Trump? Where are they??
Criminal neglect to protect our Constitution
Donald Trump took an oath to protect and defend our Constitution.
He failed miserably.
He was informed that Russia was intent on attacking our electoral system and he did nothing to protect our country. In fact, he assisted a foreign adversary in attacking our election system. He worked with the Russians to get information on his political opponent.
He stood on a stage in Helsinki and defended Vladimir Putin and bad-mouthed his own intelligence agencies. He tore down our Allies and NATO, much to the satisfaction of the Russians.
From day one, he has neglected to defend our Constitution.
The cult, mental illness, and the alternate reality.
I suppose KellyAnne Conway was sending us a message a couple of years ago when she tried to explain "alternative facts" to us? She was actually defining the new reality within the White House. The truth had no boundaries. They could color outside the lines. They could define reality in the best way to please their Leader.
But, after a while, their "alternative facts" ran head on into reality. There was chaos and confusion and disorder. Sarah Sanders tried to explain how FBI agents had called her and written emails to her to explain how they agreed with their Leader firing the FBI Director, James Comey. It fit nicely into their narrative and it pleased their dear Leader.
They lied to the people and they lied to themselves. They were driven to mental anguish in their desire to please their esteemed Leader. They knew what he wanted them to say without any directions and they proceeded to crawl deeper and deeper into the cave of their "alternative reality".
But they could only blow so much air into the balloon before it exploded in their faces. Their illusions have been shattered into tiny pieces. Lucky for them that it happened before the kool-aid was placed in front of them.
If they do escape the mental "prison" they entered, it will probably take months and months to recover from their experiences?
It is a classic cult.
The Outlaws
Could we try and stop putting people on pedestals?
As if they are perfect and could never make a mistake?
As if they are too intelligent to ever be outwitted?
Or that their judgement is always correct?
We are all human and fallible. It doesn't matter if we are special prosecutors, congressional leaders, former presidents, or whomever, we can all make mistakes. None of us is perfect.
They have not failed us - we have failed them.
An oldie from Jim Hightower: Two things found in the middle of the road?
Yellow stripes and dead armadillos.
Do you think Republicans really want to go thru an impeachment proceeding?
I don't.
I don't think they want their dirty laundry out in the public.
They are attempting to convince Democrats that it will backfire on them if they proceed. Remember what happened to them when they impeached Bill Clinton, they remind us.
But, in my opinion, they are just putting up a big front.
The last thing they want is to have Donald Trump impeached.
Is Robert Mueller still part of the Justice Department?
Would the White House declare "executive privilege" to keep him from testifying before Congress?
We cannot be certain what he might say if he does testify before Congress? We don't know for certain whether or not he might back up Barr's reading of his report? Few of us believe he is on the same page as Barr, but we just don't know.
But, Democrats should not get out too far on the limb with impeachment until they have the testimony of Robert Mueller.
It will probably take two or three weeks for everything to settle in place?
Republicans support the most dishonest, immoral, corrupt, divisive, shameless, sick reprobate....
...to ever sit in the White House.
Of course, that is just my opinion. But I think the facts do back me up?
I am amazed that they can sleep at night. Their sense of values and morality is something I simply cannot comprehend?
And the one fact that I understand about them. They don't give a big shit.
