"I can land de plane..."

April 27, 2019

Trump was on Mark Levin talk radio this evening.

It was reported that he was spouting his BS on Sean Hannity. He is making an all-out blitz to inform his followers.

His PR is very effective, in my opinion. He is lying his ass off but they can't tell the difference, so it's all good.

He is a desperate man. But he is a good liar,

This story on Rosenstein makes the picture much clearer...

We were scratching our heads trying to figure out what Rosenstein was doing? For a while, we thought he was the primary person keeping the Mueller investigation alive. The Republicans had threatened to impeach him. He thought he was going to be fired.

Then, he got a second life.

Now, we know why. He was surreptitiously informing Trump that he would "land the plane" for him. Somewhere along the line, he decided that he would clear Donald Trump of all charges. Did he do it to keep his job?

He broke all rules and protocol. It was a traitorous act. There are no words....

How important is it to get the Republicans on the record?

We don't know for sure where any Republican Senator stands on the issue of impeachment. We assume that they are all against it. But we don't know for sure? That is why they need to be on the record.

If the only way to get them on the record is to impeach, then perhaps that will be the only way to go?

But to watch the government slowly die, and do nothing, is not acceptable.

Sometimes we have to take a stand.

If the Democrats end up impeaching Donald Trump, the Republicans cannot hide. Even if they do not take a vote, we will know where they stand.

That is the least that the people deserve from their Congress.

Either we are a nation of laws or we are not...

But it is beginning to look like we may no longer be a nation of laws?

There is presently a challenge to the very body of government that writes the laws. It is no time to shrink from the call of our nation.

We have a leader and a political Party that is willing to turn the other way as their very existence is questioned.

However, we must maintain faith that there are patriots and common citizens that are willing to fight to the end to save what our mothers, brothers, and fathers have fought and died for.

Even if Donald Trump were innocent of all the charges made against him, he would still not have the right to challenge our laws, our Congress, and our institutions in the manner that he is doing. He is abusing his power and obstructing the will of our elected officials in Congress. Even if he was as pure as the driven snow, he has no right to destroy our government. He must be challenged and defeated.

We must still believe that no man is above the law.

Trump cannot be cleared of collusion and obstruction by the Mueller Report because...

...it was a "witch hunt" and a "hoax". That's what he called it??

A "witch hunt" cannot clear anyone because it's not legitimate.

So, if he wants people to believe he has been cleared, he is going to have to stop calling it a "witch hunt".

That's like saying you won the lottery with a counterfeit lottery ticket....

When does the Congress come back from vacation?

Maybe I am just paranoid, but this does not seem like an ideal time to be on vacation?

By the time they return, Trump will have destroyed the reputation of Mueller and McGahn and will have convinced his supporters that everybody in government was wrong and Donald Trump was right.

He will become more and more inciteful every day. I am appalled with the Republican Party. If they can't defend our Constitution and their own institution, then what good are they?

I do believe they need to act with more urgency.

Congress needs to move up the schedule on Mueller and McGahn

Otherwise, the sick person masquerading as the president, will continue to spread his lies and continue to incite his followers and supporters in his desperate attempt to escape all oversight.

The sooner they confront him, the better it will be for our country.

They need to act. Do something. Charge them with criminal contempt if they refuse to cooperate and send their charges to AG Barr and the DoJ. If they refuse to cooperate with Congress' requests, charge the AG with obstruction of justice and take them to Court.

They should not continue this charade with this Donald Trump. His plan is to incite and divide and tear down Robert Mueller and Don McGahn. Congress should try to move up the hearings with these two individuals, in my opinion.

Did the writers of our Constitution ever envision anything like we are now experiencing with Trump?

...and his Republican accessories?

Did they ever think that a President would be so disrespectful of our laws and would challenge the Legislature the way that Trump is now doing?

Although Washington warned against political Parties, did he ever think it would reach a point where the nation would be divided along Party lines, with little hope for compromise?

Did they ever think that this division would put our national security at risk?

Did they ever mean for a President to have so much power, after fighting the revolution to overthrow a King?

Did they offer any solutions, when impeachment is considered an impotent gesture, when one political Party is frozen in partisanship and inaction, thereby creating an environment where the other political Party is so powerless, as in the present situation?

Do we need to add Amendments to our Constitution to prevent something like this from happening in the future, in the optimistic circumstance that there is a future for our present form of government?

What would be their solution?

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

Aesop

The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains.

The Wolf, however, did truly come at last. The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of terror: "Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the sheep"; but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance. The Wolf, having no cause of fear, at his leisure lacerated or destroyed the whole flock.

There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.

==============================

The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing

A Wolf found great difficulty in getting at the sheep owing to the vigilance of the shepherd and his dogs. But one day it found the skin of a sheep that had been flayed and thrown aside, so it put it on over its own pelt and strolled down among the sheep.

The Lamb that belonged to the sheep whose skin the Wolf was wearing began to follow the Wolf in the Sheep's clothing. So, leading the Lamb a little apart, he soon made a meal off her - and for some time he succeeded in deceiving the sheep, and enjoying hearty meals.

Appearances are deceptive.
