Trump has confessed to working with foreign governments...

...but not for political dirt on his opponents, but to root out corruption.

The question is: What do the Republicans choose to believe?

Mitt Romney has called it "wrong and appalling".

"Yeah, I did it! But it was for corruption!"

Got it?

Forget the Wall....Corruption in foreign governments is now the most important issue.

It it wasn't so dastardly, it would be funny.

Trump has corrupted our foreign policy all around the world. It all began with his tearing down NATO and our allies. Through it all, one person, besides himself, has benefited from his every pronouncement. Vladimir Putin.

If Trump is truly serious about discovering "corruption", all he needs to do is look in the mirror.

53 years ago today...

I had just turned 19.

I was working in a meat-packing plant in Detroit. It was hard work but I made good money.

One morning I got a letter from Uncle Sam and it began with "Greetings".

I went back to the hollow in Kentucky to visit my Mom and family.

On October 4th, 1966, it was still dark when I walked out of the hollow. I had a paper bag with one changing of clothes.

That morning, on the square in Pineville, a bunch of us boys from the mountains, got on the bus to Fort Campbell, Kentucky.

Eleven months later, I was in Vietnam. As were most of the other boys on that bus.

Democrats need to continue this investigation.

How much is still hidden?

If they decide to immediately impeach, they should still create a blue-ribbon commission to continue the investigation. There are enemies lying in the weeds.

There are snakes in the grass.

All paranoia aside, this is a very critical time in this investigation.

We need to follow the facts.

To complicate matters even worse, we find that Trump has tried to make a deal with China. We don't yet know what that deal might be? He admitted it on live TV yesterday when he said he thought China "should investigate the Bidens also"...paraphrasing barely.

COLLUSION ! COLLUSION ! YES THERE IS COLLUSION.

The Congress (Democrats and Republicans) need to get a handle on this.

The two sides have to find a way to communicate on this matter.

It is important for our national security.

There needs to be a consensus about what is happening here.

The emails, that Adam Schiff has released, have told us so much more than we knew.

I would recommend everyone read them. Especially pages 8 and 9.

Remember when Jeff Sessions schooled Jim Jordan (R-OH) about "investigations"?

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/jeff-sessions-hillary-clinton-investigation-not-enough-evidence-fbi-latest-a8055296.html

<snip>
Mr Sessions was pressed by Republican congressman Jim Jordan from Ohio, who demanded to know “what it would take to get a special counsel”.

“It would take a factual basis that meets the standards of the appointment of a special counsel,” Mr Sessions replied.

<snip>
“That’s what it looks like, and I’m asking you: Doesn’t that warrant - in addition to all the things we know about James Comey in 2016 - doesn’t that warrant naming a second special counsel,” asked Mr Jordan.

<snip>

Mr Sessions said: “That’s the only thing I can tell you, Mr Jordan. You can have your idea, but sometimes we have to study what the facts are and to evaluate whether it meets the standard that requires a special counsel.”

The Attorney General then said Mr Comey was no longer the FBI Director and praised incumbent Chris Wray. But Mr Jordan would not be satisfied.

“He’s not here today, Attorney General Sessions, you are, and I’m asking for a special counsel,” he said.

Mr Sessions responded: “And I would say, ‘Looks like’ is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel.”

Democrats have enough evidence to impeach right now.

Not only is there extortion, abuse of power, and obstruction of justice, there is now a conspiracy against the United States of America.

Trump and Giuliani conspired to get the Ukrainians to investigate Joe Biden and his son. They were not investigating to find facts of a crime. They were investigating to create a story for Donald Trump to use in his next election campaign. It is a conspiracy, pure and simple. There is no need to add China to the charges. Or anything else. They have the written evidence and a confession by Donald J Trump.

Democrats now understand that Donald Trump is a master of distraction. They have no need to take their eye off the ball. They have all they need. There is no need to investigate every shiny object that appears in front of them. They only need to investigate in a consistent and cautious manner as Trump and the Republicans disintegrate more and more each passing day. There is no need for panic. They are defending our Constitution.

It is important that Democrats not permit themselves to be distracted. So long as they can stay on the offensive, Trump and the Republicans will get weaker and weaker until they can no longer defend the indefensible.

Stay the course, Democrats!

Will Committee subpoena the "full transcript"?

They have seen very little of it so far. Just what was cherry-picked by the White House.

Reportedly, there were eight instances in the phone call where Trump asked Zelensky to help investigate for dirt on Bidens. How many have we seen thus far?

The Committee needs to see the full transcript. It could help illuminate the case against Trump and he knows it.

It would be very, very helpful if we could see the full transcript.

What were Rudy and Trump really looking for in Ukraine??

From appearances, it looks like they were just trying to dig up dirt on Joe Biden?

But, is there some ulterior motive?

They say they are tracking down the culprits that started the Russia "hoax"? They don't believe Russia had anything to do with it. Maybe therein lies the motive?

Why were both Rudy and Trump consulting with Manafort about Ukraine?

Is it for the benefit of Donald Trump or for the benefit of Vladimir Putin?

In my opinion, there are still a lot of questions about Ukraine and previous corruption matters.
