Now in its 143rd year, the Galivants Ferry Stump is considered the oldest and largest political “stump speaking” in the United States. This year’s event will be held at the century-old Pee Dee Farms general store in Galivants Ferry on Highway 501 where it crosses the Little Pee Dee River.
The event will begin at 5:00 p.m. with political speeches starting at 6:00 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, follow Galivants Ferry Stump on Facebook and Instagram. Tickets are not required, but an RSVP is encouraged. Entrance is provided on a first come, first served basis.
