If you aspire to go higher. Shoot for a cabinet job or run for gov again. Get executive experience running something. All you do in the Senate is vote, with only a few votes being important.

Abrams is better than the Senate.

Judges and impeachment.

Disappointed in Hickenlooper, Beto and Abraham’s.

Getting totally control back will be the only way to restore law and order.

Neither wants to lose in back-to-back elections. Cornyn will be much harder to beat in TX than Cruz especially when he fell short against the most unpopular Senator in the country.

Abrams would have an uphill battle as well for Senate in GA with Trump on the ticket, consecutive statewide loses would set her career back quite a bit. I bet she winds up with a position in the next Democratic Administration.

There is no guarantee that O'Rourke or Abrams will win a Senate seat as easily as everyone said they would.

People forget that Texas Gov. Gregory Abbott is a popular governor and his coattails (not to mention financial support) helped Cruz to victory.
