I knew a few "Bernie or Bust" people. Those folks were never, ever going to vote for the Democratic Nominee no matter what if it was not Bernie. So it's not in any way shape or form "lost votes" or whatever you want to call them, any more than the people who say they'll vote for Schulz if someone too liberal is the Democratic nominee.

It's like fixating on the people who said they would vote for Democrats if we nominated McCain. So what? We're not going to so why would we even spend a minute of our time worrying about those folks?

The vast majority of Bernie supporters are going to vote for the Democratic nominee, end of story.

So why don't we focus more of our energy discussing ideas and policies and then when we settle on our nominee making sure we get as many people to the polls as possible instead of fixating on these people whose votes we never had in the first place and will never get.

I am convinced that Sanders will secure the nomination but you can take it to the bank that, should I be wrong, the Democratic nominee would have my vote - no matter what.

They are insignificant to our cause and should play no role. In my opinion, the use of them to cause fear among Democrats is one of Sanders greatest accomplishments. Truly a smart move on his part in 2016. He used them to gain leverage where there was truly no leverage to gain. Sander used his supporters as a way to gain power at the convention. He is a career politician and played it perfectly. The party leadership should have seen it for what it was and not given him the power they did. I hope they don't do it again. They got played by a fear tactic.

Why do I say it like that? They are called Bernie or Bust for a reason. It didn't matter what happened when formulating the platform. The same number were going to vote for Clinton that did. The same number of Sanders supporter were going to vote for Trump, Stein, or stay home as they did. Those blocks had already made their decision. It was a fear play by Sanders and he did it well. The fact that it worked on some now makes them feel more powerful than they are or ever should have been.

Fuck Bernie or Bust. Fuck the concept of PUMA's. They are LIV's that do not have progress for the greater good as their motives. They are selfish assholes.

I'm not saying they shouldn't be highlighted as a campaign tool. Using them to show how one campaign will have zero coattails and will fail to build any meaningful coalition. But do not fear them. They are weak.

Fenris was the home planet, the army was the D'Koi (I named it when I was like, 12? 13?), so they were the D'koi of Fenris. It stuck as a tag in other forums, so when I re-signed here, Decoy it was. Better than my current gamer ID, "Legendary". There's a story behind that one as well, but the TL;DR is that someone named me that and it stuck.
