Deja 2016 vu all over again. This is not a beginning, you guys. They never stopped.
This is Sanders assisted in building a fake foreign policy resume by far-right Republican Mike Lee. Neither are on any foreign affairs committees for either party, but making policy was not their goal.
Remember, Sanders has announced that he will step up his 2016 efforts to draw Trump's conservative populist trumpsters to join you in electing him. You need to be prepared for what he will again have to do to draw and keep these conservatives. Deja 2016 vu all over again. Maybe on steroids?
I hear he's now claiming to be the true centrist leader. Sounds like you're going to be centrist now, along with your fellow travelers from the right.

(29,322 posts)And his position on Saudi Arabia makes sense rather than the last several Presidents. His foreign policy is fine by me but I prefer Gabbard's. She would make an ideal Secretary of State one focused on peace.

(34,661 posts)on that one. This will be one of the Rethugs talking points as well as AOC. The GOP is just copying their 2016 and 2018 strategy .

(401 posts)How much of that is hard and how much soft I don't know.
I think in the end the Republicans will only use Bernie.
Bernie needs to focus on his great economic message and provide detailed policy proposals. That is where his appeal is.
He should also get ahead of distracting issues - release his tax returns and accept responsibility for his prior campaign's treatment of female staffers. That way, he can have a razor-sharp focus on his economic message.

(16,887 posts)Being Authentic can be a virtue....what is not authentic and is over-rated is when people falsely claim those things about others as virtues.....
Not sure who the guest was who fired back at the Republican Strategist claiming Bernie Sanders' "Authenticity"....but I laughed at loud hearing a Repuke claiming that about Bernie....

(92,187 posts)nominee, and for that, along with others who are part of the Our Revolution Group, I will not support Bernie Sanders in the primary
and when the Susan Sarandon and Nina Turner, who is now one of the campaign chairs for Sanders, start making their constant appearances on the Chris Hayes show or the like, those memories of what they did during the General Election will be brought back, and I suspect the Biden, Obama, and Hillary supporters will be looking for their nominee in the other Democratic contenders outside of
the Sanders campaign in the primaries
