Joe Rogan is promoting Donald Trump now.

One of the beautiful claims from Sanders people is that they can stand up for their principles at all times and don't change based on circumstances. And Rogan has gone from Sanders straight to Trump, without compromising his principles at all.

Makes you wonder, doesn't it. What are those principles?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Kind of funny that they talk about principles, then parade around the "endorsement" (which was always tepid, at best) of someone who has none.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

7. The Nation: Bernie Broke My Heart When He Embraced Rogan's Endorsement
Sun Apr 5, 2020, 03:36 PM

Bernie's embrace of the endorsement of an outspoken racist and sexist underscores that Bernie's hypocrisy and lack of principle. In the end, so long as it raise Bernie's profile, he does not care.

https://www.thenation.com/article/politics/joe-rogan-endorsement-sanders/

You can’t even discuss the fact that certain races demonstrate low IQ,” Joe Rogan lamented in 2018. On that show he was celebrating Sam Harris’s support for Charles Murray’s claims that people of color are dumber than whites.

In 2019, in response to a guest’s proposed hypothetical, “Let’s imagine that you actually believe that males and females are equal in intelligence,” Rogan responded, “LOL.” Rogan’s position was obvious: Women, he believes, aren’t as smart as men.

Rogan has routinely attacked people of color, trans people, women, and queer people as part of his public life for decades. His attacks on trans people are particularly vicious. Almost weekly on his popular podcast, Rogan excoriates trans folks using language like, “What are you?” and “She used to be a man,” and attacking trans individuals for wanting to play in sports, transitioning as teens, and asking people to address them respectfully.

In 2018, he told frequent guest Gavin McInnes, founder of the violent white supremacist and misogynist gang known as the Proud Boys, that people often become gay or lesbian because of “molestation at an early age.… it seems to be a real factor.”

"From Bernie’s perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."
