Wisconsin Republicans go to U.S. Supreme Court to block extended absentee voting.

Wisconsin’s Republican-led legislature refused to delay Tuesday's primary election, formally rejecting on Saturday a call from the state's Democratic governor, Tony Evers, to halt in-person voting amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The move comes as Republicans on Saturday also asked the U.S. Supreme Court to block a lower court ruling that expanded absentee balloting in the state.

State Republicans on Saturday gaveled into a special session called by Evers then immediately closed the session without taking action. Republicans indicated they had adjourned until Monday.

It is now up to the governor to try to find other emergency measures to delay the election. Evers suggested on Friday that he would attempt to do so.

“If they take no action, we’ll be looking at whatever action we can take," Evers said. “We will continue to find ways to make sure Wisconsinites are safe, and that’s the bottom line.”

Seriously they are forcing Bernie's hand if he has any common sense. I would think this could be used in the general election. You risk your life to exercise your franchise. It doesn't effect the Republicans because their primary is not competitive, but what about the down ticket races? Are they voting now as well?

And shut it down as a public health measure....

Failing that, make damned sure the people know who killed them, when they take a front line role in defense of Democracy....

So, the republicans are saying that you can vote, and also run a one in fifty chance of dying, or caring Corona home with you. Of course they won't let the people have mail in voting--that's safe. And they know exactly what they are doing. The Republicans message to democratic voters; die!
I hope that when their election time comes around that people will remember that they addressed the public trust given them by their position as state senators with the morality of death camp guards.

18. Wisconsin COVID curve is not as exponential

The daily number of new cases is approximately stable.

If Wisconsin was not practicing the current social distancing, the number of daily cases would be increasing.

Wisconsin needs to increase social distancing, as well as every place in the world.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
