work in Africa would support Sanders. Surely that was very practical work -- people who did real work on the ground measuring progress by real tasks checked off and real, hopefully worthwhile, results obtained?

Would you really put Sanders in charge of whatever you were doing there and have him spend 28 years effectively doing nothing and then, when he saw different opportunity, pivot to planning a popular uprising as a way to enable work he can't define in detail before even beginning it? And if that didn't happen?

What about the work?

Even if I was fine with giving great power to a man of his character, after that I really would expect him to be able to do the job and I would expect him to do it. I just don't get why intelligent and presumably caring people would knowingly choose to back a proven lifelong nonperformer. What about the work to be done?

Seriously. After 28 years of not really trying to control disease, just mostly talking about it and burning up his energy complaining about other epidemiologists, wouldn't you pass on Sanders and hire Biden to do that job?

I see a decent caring person who has had to fight opposition at every turn, but worked in simple ways to achieve success. He was not known as the "Amendment King" for nothing. He worked things in however necessary even if he didn't get any credit. Senator Sanders doesn't work for credit he works for the people.

He would be my top choice to help me with field work in Africa or anyplace else in the world. It's sad the untruths he has been smeared with and I hope I'm big enough to see through all the talking points.

Secondly, don't take everything so personally. I wasn't referring to anybody here on an obscure political forum...just all these spoiled 20 and 30-year old brats who are in the public limelight and/or on Sanders' staff who apparently haven't matured enough to accept the fact that sometimes democracy is a real bitch.

Thirdly, rocket engineers tend to have an above-average IQ as well...just so you know in case you never met one spending all your time in a virus lab. But apparently we also have a better sense of humor than scientists do. Makes me glad I chose aerospace engineering over astrophysics if they are all as sensitive as you are!

Maybe you should take a break and watch some comedies...as another poster has already mentioned, "Stripes" might be a good place to start.

Trump likes to talk about "IQ" and he, of course, is an idiot.

Personally, I find membership in a cult, far left or far right, a better indicator of one's intellectual proficiency than some number recorded by an elementary school principal when one was a child.

This is a heads-up of what the progressive wing intends to do. Find another candidate and primary Biden after a first term.

On the other hand, it's not a good look, very reminiscent of Mitch McConnell standing up in the Senate declaring his main mission was ensuring President Obama was a one-termer.

Somehow this will all change in 2024, once his followers can agree on a new standardbearer to pick up where Bernie left off. In the meantime, they'll keep on hammering Biden over some 30-year-old Senate votes.

At the moment, I won't spend much energy on what's going to happen in 2024, who or what the Cent-Like progressives choose to do then. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

"progressive". They are remotely. What they are are anarchists that have an insatiable thirst for conflict and the angst that come with it. A progressive comes to a table with a set of wants, fights hard for those wants and signs on to agreement that advance the country farther toward a country with social and economic justice than existed before the bargaining started.

At least Cenk will say he's voting for Biden, after waiting until the last minute to announce he would vote for Clinton last time.

Ironically, she used to be the smart, level-headed one while Cenk was prone to emotional rants, which were probably just for the show. I watched back when it was about reality, things Republicans do to wreck the country. Actual journalism.

Then it became pro-Russia, anti-America (meaning anti-Democratic Party) propaganda. Such a shame. Ana really went off the deep end and swallowed all the conspiracy theories and disinformation. Now she's the one spitting with hate for Democrats and doesn't know none of what she believes is true. Cenk still knows it's show business: branding, advertising, selling. He voted for Hillary last time and will vote for Biden; she is lost.

Ana looks like she a Krystal Ball would have a ton of stuff to commiserate over.

Amazed he’s doing the right thing. And clearly stating that. Not sure he has any sway over Bernie, but his starting now is a good thing. Too bad it’s not Jeff Weaver.

I am honored. Be well and stay safe as well. Please reach out to the elderly, disabled and others that are overwhelmed, confused and terrified. Sometimes it just takes a call or note left under a door, or a gift certificate. I've been putting breakfast at the doors of the 28 elderly people that live on my floor. One person left a handwritten note asking me if I would contact his grandchildren because he didn't know how to use the internet. It took me a while to recover from that.

Words and actions have consequences you numbnuts.

You spent most your time on Russian TV, smeared Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party with bullshit propaganda daily, made it to MSNBC only to fail, took Republican money and failed again. Went all Bernie Bro and Justice Democrats promising to burn it all down and primary everyone....

Cenk got absolutely slaughtered trying to run for office.

Yet, now now you are afraid they are gonna smear YOU?
