I like it a lot....

"From Bernie’s perspective, dropping out of a race once you have no chance of winning is peculiar behavior that can only be explained by the work of a hidden hand. For most politicians, though, it is actually standard operating procedure. Only Sanders seems to think the normal thing to do once voters have made clear they don’t want to nominate you is to continue campaigning anyway."

"When things are not called by their right names, what is said cannot make sense. When what is said does not make sense, what is planned cannot succeed. When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."

Biden has said he's ".. not interested in anymore debates".. BS has lost and his campaign is smearing Joe.

Why would Biden want to debate that? BS hasn't earned it.

Who needs an informed public resulting from debates.

Who needs them to vote.

Who needs democracy.

It won't change the outcome.

Just install Biden as next President.

raise his level of respect among Dem voters. In the eyes of many Democrats, Bernie is only digging a deeper credibility hole for himself.

Of course Sanders wants yet another in an attempt to scrabble out a few more points, but that's not the same as fulfilling a need to inform the public.

He came into the race already well known (he campaigned continuously from 2015-2020) and has given 11 big performances before the national electorate courtesy of the evil DNC. Not holding a twelfth due to the pandemic might cost him a political opportunity, but it wouldn't affect the outcome, and, most importantly, it won't cost the electorate, who now have a world of information available to them.

primary today, I would vote for:
