That’s a really stupid idea!
Cuomo has not been particularly popular until this emergency.
Yes, he has been wonderful for this. Does not mean that he is ready for a presidential run.
Too many negatives that have not been explored.

primary today, I would vote for:

But the majority just seem to want to attack the messenger. I’m undecided and I want to hear from the Biden supporters why this is a bad idea and why Biden is the best candidate. Attacking the messenger doesn’t add to the discussion.

Cuomo has ego and anger issues.
Yes he’s good at the moment. I want to see him in debates and arguing over more mundane bits of government.
All of this call for him to run for President reminds me of the calls for Lindbergh to run for President. Obviously not the same but falls within the example of promoting someone because they were in a particular place at the optimal time.

then pose that question in a separate OP. Don’t use a right wing source, you won’t get discussion. You posted it without comment, which makes me question your intent.

National Review was founded in 1955 by William F. Buckley Jr. as a magazine of conservative opinion. The magazine has since defined the modern conservative movement and enjoys the broadest allegiance among American conservatives.

Cuomo is doing a good job managing NY's CV-19 crisis. That does NOT mean he'd be a good candidate to run for POTUS. Actually I think he has some of the same egotistical controlling personality traits we see and dislike in other politicians. There's a reason he's never made any serious run for the Dem nomination. I also think there may be more than a few skeletons in his closet.
