I agree, it is disgusting to cheer the death of millions of elders for political reasons.

She apparently missed the tone deaf update today from Dump.

Dr. Brix I think it was, said they are very concerned that there is a large number of young ones becoming critically ill as well. I posted about a 29 year old healthcare professional that died. Her lungs after an x-ray showed her lower lungs looking like crushed glass. This is what the virus does. A family member works in ICU. They got their first virus patient 47 years old, intubated, critical.

Structuals is a very ugly person rooting for people to die.

They didn't get their pony so they are lashing out at Biden and his supporters.

The sad part is that even many sane Sanders' supporters are contaminated by this type of rhetoric. You will never see a single tweet from a genuine Sanders supporter condemning and disavowing such disgusting trash.

The strongest Dem demographic is voters under 35. The strongest Repub group (who also vote in the highest numbers) are over 65.
So natural attrition, with older people dying and young people getting to voting age, is a strong trend running against the GOP.

as the virus continues to spread and really starts to kill, especially the older cohorts. The Boomers and above are going to start to massively lash out at Gen X, the Xennials (Carter babies, ie. 1977-80 born) and especially the Millennials, the Zennials/Zillennials (my micro gen, 1992-98 born) and Gen Z'ers as their 'killers' and also as threats that need 'to be dealt with'.

Those attacked gens in turn will return the fire and the shit will truly start to hit the fan. I have already started to see this happen to a certain extent in a number of different arenas. The shit-stirring MSM is already starting to play that angle.

out of 555 responders here

https://www.democraticunderground.com/100213017831

only 3 of us are under 25

and two of them barely post, especially the one who joined when they were 14 in 2014

11 total are under 36yo (less than 2%)

75% are 56yo or older

so there is pretty much only one-way traffic in terms of younger peoples' points of view

as in we are talked about, but not talked with

I have tried to get some of my age cohort to join and contribute, but as most are UK and other EU (I do know a lot of Americans, but obviously not as many as UK/EU, as I am London raised and live in Sweden now) they have shown a paucity of interest

the Americans have been overall not receptive of the board after they lurked for a bit

One did join back last summer and got swarmed and accused of being a bot within 15 posts, as he likes Michael Harriot and got into it with some on here about a Root article. He is actually (well was) a Kamala Harris supporter who I knew in real life when I was living in Los Angeles for a couple years, and is so not a troll type, he is just very afro-centric (he is mixed race part black like me) and outspoken, so rubbed some the wrong way I suppose. He stopped logging and told me to never recco a political chatboard again, lolololol.

Now the planet is dying and the virus is its Antibody defense.. Trumps poison dumping will help out to rid the cancer that is humans. The young’s, gonna leave young, never reaching old. I taught pathology in our forests for 30 years, in both plants and animals. In those 30 years I have seen many, many species wiped out by pathogens, plants and animals. Overpopulation and environmental corrections. Supposedly, God loves ALL his creations. He never swooped in and saved any of those. And none of those species were as big of asses and destructive as humans. Bug Bye young’s.

From the looks of things the federal government is about to resort to some serious-ass socialism on steroids. They're fueling up Bernanke's helicopters as I type to drop money all over the country in the next coupla weeks.

https://www.brookings.edu/blog/ben-bernanke/2016/04/11/what-tools-does-the-fed-have-left-part-3-helicopter-money/

I'd say more but I gotta go finish working on my big net for when the cash chopper flies over our house soon.

Looks like Bernie's Revolution will get here before he drops outta the race or wins another state, whichever comes first.

PS I wonder if Munchkin or Krudlow had the balls to tell Trump today that the market dipped below where it was when Obama left office? I'll bet that put a real big knot in his knickers if they did! Woulda paid one of the $1000 bills I'm gonna catch falling to the ground to have seen that.

Just two. McConnell and Trump.

Conservatives have their place in our society. I don't hate most of them. I hate racism, but sometimes a racist is just misguided. I hate sexism, but sometimes a sexist is just ignorant. I hate xenophobia, but again, it's usually ignorance, and poor upbringing.

MAGAts are, by and large, gullible.

This is not a hydra situation. If we lose Trump, we do not get 6 mini-Trumps in his place. Chopping off the head is the kindest thing that could be done for our nation. I would bet anything that Pence could do a better job for the 6 months until the election.

As I said in my post above, someone here on DU said they'd be grateful if the virus sickened or killed a bunch of conservatives. That's a disgusting thing to say. Not one person on the thread except me called that person out... though someone else did defend them.

Evidently some people think it's okay to wish conservatives dead. But of course, if conservatives wish for progressives to get sick and die, they're awful, horrible people. Nothing hypocritical about that at all...

Our desires, wishes and hopes are without any consequence at all... unless we act on them. And wishes without consequence are merely thought.

So unless someone acts on them in this instance, I really see little more than an opportunity for self-righteous indulgence at the expense of others.
