NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Democrats should NOT set the precedent

of cancelling any election because of COVID 19.

Not unless we want to give Trump cover for doing that in November.

NOBODY WANTS THAT, DO WE?

(Yes, I know about Georgia, but that was a Republican decision.)

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

If there were no elections, she could not lose her majority and so would be Speaker.
Her ascension would be automatic, while replacing a VP requires a confirmation of both House and Senate.

Of course, all of this assumes that we are still following the Constitution.

One won't be coming.

There will still be primaries on Tuesday. The states have all already said these dates are on, and they have the final say.

Then, it's all over but the final campaign staff meetings where you wish everyone the best in their futures, while secretly checking your phone every few minutes hoping Biden's local camping reached back out to you.

and people isolating which is the whole purpose now and of course it will save lives. The results will be what you say but people are going to need to get back out there and business are going to have to start getting busy and making money again. Hence not wanting it to last into Nov. I hope we can shut everything down, flatten it and then as summer arrives and ??? Whatever, cause I do not know anything about this stuff.

I mean, you are not suggesting shut downs, borders closed people staying home thru to Nov, right?

might dwindle over the summer, as flu cases do. It's a possibility. Then it might resurge again in the fall.

It might disappear at the end -- or it might mutate into a new virus every year, as flu viruses do.

Our scientists are flying blind because this is a completely new virus. Alll we can really do now is try to buy enough time by slowing down the spread -- so our medical system isn't completely overloaded, and so some treatments can be figured out, and a vaccine developed.
