Nothing about Bernie is "revolutionary"

It is basically tax the rich people and create a bazillion programs to take the deficit up to some $70 trillion.

It has previously been described as "class warfare" and it is nothing new.

The free college tuition and education debt relief was great to get the students to rallies (which were ALWAYS held on or near a campus) but it failed to attract working people who either have never been to college or have paid off their student debts already.

Those are divisive policies.

Medicare for all (or a single payer system) was championed by Ted Kennedy since the 60's.

Obama proposed the environmental policy and he even called it a "green new deal"

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

You may also pretend it's limited to only the supporters of one candidate. You can also pretend discussion is weighted by fiat. As long as you realize it's all pretense on your end, and it ain't doing you any good at all.

"When's the coronation?"
This being an example of the civility, unity and outreach you guys have been harping on since Sanders began plummeting in the polls?

In any event, the revolution is over. Everyone, please go back to your seats, fold your tray tables, make your seat upright, turn off your electronic devices and stow away any personal belongings. We are now going to land in reality.

Mar 2020

I remember it. It just sort of fizzled out after the US left Vietnam. Everyone went home and got on with their lives.

Many of us remember it. A few still want to keep it going. Bernie's in that group. Now, there is a new generation that has become enamored of some sort of "revolution," sort of like we were back then.

Ain't happening. Didn't happen then. Won't happen now. What does happen is a list improvements in some areas.

If I were to vote in a presidential

However, most of us realizes that it was the things that changed that are important, not the "revolution" itself.

Civil Rights
Women's Rights
Reproductive Rights
LGBTQTIA Rights
Legal Weed (it's here in many states)
The Death of Disco
Other stuff.

There were good changes that came from it. There's still much to do, but change is slow to happen and even slower to be noticed.

Bernie is stuck in the past, and is still talking like it is still the late 1960s. Things have moved on from those days.
