I try not to think about where we'd be today, because it's pretty depressing seeing where we are instead. As someone noted in the comments, imagine where we'd be if people voted for the grown-up.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I think Hillary has now proven herself to be an even more spectacular candidate, not the failure folks keep trying to paint her as.

Prior to Hillary, we had, what? Sarah Palin and Geraldine Ferraro as VP picks. There was nothing to compare Hillary to. Now there is: four female candidates who did so abysmally that you have to chock at least some of it up to sexism. So now, look at Hillary. She surmounted SO much sexism and anti-Clinton apocrypha to get where she got, which is further than any other woman who made the attempt—as proven by this year. So I don't buy that she did badly. I think sexism may have hurt her but she still got 3 million more votes than Trump.

I think we have to look at Hillary through the lens of this election. We never had other female candidates to compare her trajectory to before. Now we do and they all sucked wind compared to her and some of them were really great candidates so you have to wonder just how much sexism Hillary actually surpassed.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

In spite of 25 years of non-stop GOP propaganda, she still won the popular vote and was 70k votes away in three states from the presidency. Prior to this campaign starting, I really thought Warren could have a similar run, and except for a very brief period where she looked like the front-runner, it just never happened.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

I'm sad we will likely never get to see what kind of leader she would have been for this nation.

It took a perfect storm in the GOP primaries and then a perfect storm in the general election, aided and abetted by various parties, including a bunch of dead-end investigations and endless propaganda, to keep her from winning.
