My friends to my left, please don't despair

This was an unusual election driven by the fear of Trump and was not fought on policy but a desire to beat Trump.

Bernie may have lost but a younger, left-leaning progressive will emerge. He/she will be charismatic and will have feet on the ground. He/she will be a policy wonk and will have done the homework on the policy positions with solid numbers to back up how the policies will be paid for and what the legislative strategy will be.

Hang in there and you will one day have a candidate that inspires not only you but all of us.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The millennials are very liberal and as they get older they will start voting in greater numbers. Studies show that unlike previous generations, millennials are NOT becoming more conservative as they age. That’s good news for the future of this country.

primary today, I would vote for:

We are not anachronistic. We hope, dream and try to make people's lives better.

We had presidents who were never heard of beyond their state. JFK, Carter, Clinton, Obama ... we shall prevail in (really) making America great again.

I'm sure there is someone out there in a state legislature or a school committee or a small town mayor who is inspired by Bernie and will make us proud in the future.
