I think we've all seen what we need to see, and heard what we need to hear.

Enough already.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

If Sanders throws in the towel, and Sunday's debate is cancelled, then the first one-on-one debate Joe Biden will be in will be with Trump, assuming the latter decides to debate.

I'd really like to know that Joe can handle himself under such circumstances. And you know that Trump won't shy away from some very touchy issues, like Hunter Biden and Burisma.

I put the word in quotes, because the format we use for our political "debates" aren't really debates, are they.

They are just two or more people spouting off memorized sound bites, tropes, and anecdotes, with some policy mixed in. Even the policy talk is necessarily vague and un-nuanced because of time constraints.

Post game commentary is always cringe-worthy, and I can't help but wonder how many erstwhile wonderful leaders we could have had if we would just drop them entirely.

So no - time to wrap this up.

Until the convention, let Mayor Bloomberg do his anti-Trump media magic as we raise money and get ready to save our democracy in the fall.

COVID-19 is posing a big threat to the country. I just don't like the idea of two of our candidates campaigning in the remaining states, NY State in particular is troublesome given the virus is infecting people in NY City.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
