(23,099 posts)I was really working to be ok if Sanders won, but so glad it now looks like I might not HAVE to support him since I don't trust him. If he were somehow to end up being our candidate, I will get myself in line and do what needs to be done.
I will even work for his election if he's our candidate, because he is better than the fascist criminal - period the end. The survival of our country is very threatened by Cheetolini and his oligarch fascist crew and I will do anything I can to help stop it. However, it now looks like I get to support someone that I think is a very kind and decent person who would bring us out of the gutter and win a broad coalition and hopefully take back the Senate. Just think of all the good things that we can accomplish with that change of direction!

(333 posts)The mission, should we choose to take it...IS TO GET RID OF TRUMP!!! YOU NOT GOING TO FIND A PERFECT CANDIDATE. The media is pounding each of these candidates with negative information. The end result is to discourage people from voting. If you are stuck on sanders or biden and neither gets the nomination, they expect you to get discouraged and not vote. We have a president who is so flawed that it takes two books to describe the mind-numbing stupidity of this man. Yet the media has us focused on petty mistakes the candidates made years ago and buttegieg is being run out of the race for being a homosexual even though we have gay people running our governments successfully all over the country. We're being side tracked by the media. We can't let that happen. NO MATTER WHO WINS THE NOMINATION---PUT YOUR PERSONAL CRAP ASIDE AND GO VOTE FOR THAT PERSON IN NOVEMBER. Believe it or not, if rump wins, it may be the last time we have a general election for the President of the United States. What bothers me is that we can't find a better autocrat than rump! Who elected him to be an autocrat, not the american people, the american people voted for an american president. where does he get off crowning himself a dicktater! Who wants this idiot to be the county's supreme leader for life? Not me.
