BERNIE ..... stop waving your hand !!! He is SO rude!! He did the same thing to Hillary

No one is as rude as Bernie. Why does he put forth that "entitled" white man mentality by thinking he has the right to talk over the other folks on that stage. Nothing makes me madder than seeing him flap his hands like a pelican bird.

Glad to get that off my chest.

If I were to vote in a presidential

Warren went for another solid punch to Bloomberg but it had the opposite effect this time leaving her bruised.

I don't know who gave her the advice to use that tactic but it simply didn't work.

Her explanation to Chris Matthews after the debate wasn't much better.

Elizabeth Warren is a hell a lot better than that performance. And that's how it came across to me, a staged performance that didn't elevate her profile or her polling position. She needs to go after Sanders; he's her real competition. And she's the better candidate.

It didn't looked "staged" to me..Most of what I read and hear applauds her for going after Bloomberg and credits her with getting him to move on his NDA's

I know the MSM is constantly telling Warren she "'should' be going after Sanders", but apart from the fact that's she's already done that, it's likely because they are "going after" Sanders themselves, in a desperate effort to promote a 'moderate'.

We see the world through our own lens and perception. So my take is no more personal (or not) than your yours. As for her going after Sanders? That's been a patty-cake response at best. Why? Because I'm sure she believes there's an overlap in support between her campaign and Sanders'.

As far as the 'kill it story?" Because the story and the words are ugly and appeal to our worst beliefs about Bloomberg (or any other man, particularly a billionaire) doesn't make it a feminist hill to die on. The case will go to court, the parties will have their chance to present evidence and presumably an impartial jury will render a decision. It's not up to me or you or Elizabeth Warren to render that judgement out of hand. We have enough of that going on in Trumplandia.

You and I disagree. Probably on a lot of things. So be it.

Somehow the moderators allow them to get away with it. I always know that Biden and Klobuchar will fall several minutes and multiple responses behind.

It levels out later but those early responses are so memorable and set the stage toward the remainder.

No matter what Sanders or Warren are saying I always think less of them due to the monopoly desperation and refusal to stop at allotted time. Biden had some great related barbs tonight.

The 2000 U.S. census states that racial categories "generally reflect a social definition of race recognized in this country. They do not conform to any biological, anthropological or genetic criteria."[4] It defines "white people" as "people having origins in any of the original peoples of Europe, the Middle East, or North Africa.[5] The Federal Bureau of Investigation uses the same definition.[6]

In 2013, more than 90% of U.S. Jews described themselves as white.[61] However, the racial status of Jews has continued to engender debate,[62] with some commentators arguing that all Jews are non-white.[63][64]

73. I agree. It was Pete's worst performance to date.

Evidently, Pete was ill. He cancelled a number of appearances in FL the day after the debate.

Waving hands are part of it. It is part of his appeal.

An applicable quote for the primary:

You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

This feels like a real stretch to me. They all talk over one another and interrupt(except for maybe Steyer) so trying to single out one candidate for it seems pretty disingenuous. There are valid reasons to not support Bernie Sanders. This kind of stuff is just silly. It borders on "2016 Republican Primaries" level imo.

The guy is a fantastic pontificator but I've never seen him actually sit down, be quiet and consider what others are saying. We already have a president who is expert at that.
