Possible solution??

Bloomberg could withdraw and put his money behind Biden or Warren.

Biden because he can win the electoral map.

Warren because the current Bernie supporters might accept her.

Bernie has too many dangerous negatives.

I do wonder if Warren would go VP. I think Harris and Klobuchar are far more likely.

Doubt Bloomberg would withdraw. He's a backup plan for a convention tussle. If you spent $450 million in February, would you pack it in?

I could definitely seeing Liz getting aboard the Bernie train as VP

One step away from the presidency? With Bernie's health issues? Sure

If he wanted to be altruistic there are millions of other ways he could have spent his money. And I am a Bloomberg supporter

But, he said the reason he jumped in was he felt none of the candidates were capable of beating trump.

Liz would consider being a VP to Bernie.

She is head and shoulders above him in every way and is an alpha candidate herself.

They are the closest ideologically, and not right now but after Super Tues, it could work for both

13. She would actually have

more power and influence by remaining a Senator.

To repeat, she's more than head and shoulders above Sanders. She is second fiddle to none and would not be happy being so.

But she's not one for waiting around when there's work to be done, especially when she actually knows how to get things done, which is something that Bernie doesn't.

If she's not in the top spot, she'll be working as hard as she can in the Senate.

I wouldn’t choose Warren to assuage Sanders voters. I just don’t think his voters will be happy with any scenario where Sanders isn’t the nominee, especially if he’s knocked out by what they would perceive as a scheme to do so.

But I worry about the ramifications of manipulating things to get rid of Bernie, his supporters will never forgive us and at its most basic level it's not right. If we really don't want Bernie as the candidate more of us need to show up and vote for someone else. That's the way it should be done.

8. HERE'S THE DEAL: South Carolina is the trigger
Mon Feb 24, 2020, 01:58 PM

If Biden comes in first in S. Carolina, he's got the Momentum. Bloomberg withdraws, backs Biden, turns on his media machine for Biden. Must happen before S. Tuesday.

BTW, Bloomberg would make an awesome Climate Change Czar in a Biden admin.

If Biden comes in 2nd or lower in S. Carolina, he backs Bloomberg.

They both work on getting the other, non-Sanders candidates to drop. A Biden/Warren ticket would be excellent, but he probably needs a POC, like Harris or Abrams. Not sure I can see a Bloomberg/Warren ticket, although stranger things have happened, but a Bloomberg/ Abrams or /Harris ticket would be awesome.

Yes, the candidate who has yet to win a single primary or caucus in his 3rd attempt to win the Democratic nomination is a shoo-in to win the electoral map.
