That seemed like a really visceral dislike of Bloomberg.

(18,906 posts)positive about her campaign right now, but tonight she did come off as truly desperate. I suppose that's because she is. You can't run as "Bernie Lite" in this election. If there's one thing I do like about her it's her determination to reign in Wall Street, but that isn't enough to throw my support her way. As far as I'm concerned MFA is DOA. No one running on that platform can beat Trump, unfortunately.

I'd rather play it cool with my pro-corporate faves.

(18,906 posts)Why you're being snarky about it doesn't quite make sense. To each their own. Accepting criticism about your chosen candidate is tough to do, I know. Why you didn't address the things I find negative about her campaign is puzzling.

(2,275 posts)You think Wall Street is just fine and find Warren going after it as somehow annoying, or at best not particularly relevant. I can only conclude that you are on the receiving end of the broken system the true blue traditional Democrats like Sanders and Warren are aggressively trying to fix. Wall Street, and all its tax breaks/loopholes, tax shelters, and monopoly advantages is crushing small business, small towns and the very health of this nation. Among industrialized nations we are near the bottom in so many areas.
I want to shout "wake up!" but that will get me kicked off this establishment forum.

(18,906 posts)maybe reading comprehension isn't one of your strengths. I don't know how you can read, "If there's one thing I do like about her it's her determination to reign in Wall Street, but that isn't enough to throw my support her way" and think that I'm some moneyed fat-cat who doesn't want any regulation on Wall Street, or the Banking Industry, for that matter. Here's a clue; when I say I do like something about someone, that means I find that an admirable characteristic about that person, not the exact opposite. I went on to say that wasn't enough to throw my support her way. Being a Democrat I believe every candidate up on that stage would share the same determination to reign in Wall Street and the money lenders. Maybe that's the part you're confused about. I didn't write that in the opinion, but that should be a given being a Democrat.
Perhaps it's you who should "wake up", stop assigning your prejudices to those who don't worship your chosen candidate, and please - above all - put me on "full ignore". I know I won't be reading any of your opinions from here forward.

Small steps, lets get rid of Trump, take back the Senate, and keep the House. Then maybe, possibly, praying hard over here, get something for bottom 99.9%.

(6,965 posts)Saves some of that for alleged lying, treasonous, billionaire tRump, because if she's the nominee, he'll of course be bringing billions to the party, and you know he'll get down and filthy and LIE like a rug on her as he usually does. I wish all of these Dems would go after tRump, and the news media .... Ask them WHY they don't ask fat ass questions like the ones they're asking THEM. I have never seen THEM (Except Ralston) bring these type of questions to tRump's door. We know that fat ass probably won't even debate--just run Billions in campaign ads and lies against the Dem nominee. He'll have plenty of money:
How should Democrats fight back against Trump's billion-dollar "Death Star"?
Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale has built a $1 billion disinformation machine. Here's how to beat it.
BOB CESCA
FEBRUARY 11, 2020 1:00PM (UTC)
They're calling it the "Death Star." While supporters of the various Democratic candidates for president pummel each other online, Grand Moff Brad Parscale, Donald Trump's campaign manager, is deploying this appropriately nicknamed $1 billion disinformation machine with the real potential to obliterate even the most perfect Democratic ticket this fall. For starters.
Among other things, this raises an extraordinarily important question: How exactly do the Democrats fight back against what amounts to a nuclear arsenal of lies and kooky conspiracy theories? We'll circle back to that.
McKay Coppins' terrifying new article for The Atlantic, "The Billion-Dollar Disinformation Campaign to Reelect the President," about Parscale's Rosslyn, Virginia-based agitprop factory, the "Death Star," is a stop-the-presses moment for this election. Frankly, the size and despot-scale cynicism of Parscale's project is almost too much to comprehend, rendering the myriad other Jenga pieces in this election small by comparison.
