Bloomberg it is!

Time to switch, and all of the drummed up attack bullshit right here on DU is what drove me to switch.

Bloomberg is the ONLY candidate that is 100% focused on attacking trump.

I have no more time for candidates or their surrogates either in their campaigns or here that waste time, energy and toxic division on attacking each other.

When the others get their heads out of their collective asses and start focusing 100% on the removal of trump, they'll be worth my support consideration again.

Trump's the target. Bloombergs the one focused on that Target. I'm with Bloomberg.

primary today, I would vote for:

Still love Biden, but notice that early and up to a few months ago he was doing GREAT in all the polls, and all during that time, he was laser focused on Trump while the others attacked him.. Then he started dishing it back and dropped.

He's at his best when he ignores the shit being lobbed at him, and goes straight for Tramps jugular.

Why are we even considering him? Trump is horrible, but voting for another republican that would continue the Mitch Mcconnell agenda and wall street agenda? That's the plan?

The ***GOP*** needs to be defeated. Not just trump. Putting in a "smart" gop president is a recipe for disaster.

Bloomberg as the nominee would be a disaster split this party open to its core.
Quite frankly it would be amazing if a strong 3rd party candidate didn't emerge.
One with an anti-racist, progressive platform.
Kind of what the Democratic Party is supposed to be.

Bernie brings more youth in, but may find a drop in long time Democratic Party supporter base due to the attacks he and his surrogates have lobbed. Argument is nobody else can win without his supporters.. but I say Democratic Party candidates have won without his supporters, the reverse cannot be said.

Biden it about if he can energize new voters and win overs from groups like those who support Bernie.

Buttigieg, who I absolutely adore, and if I could wave a magic want would be my #1 choice is challenged in being able to drum up African American support or the effect of homophobia in critical swing states.

The real elephant in the room is that this is not an election cycle that is likely to be successful no matter who our candidate is. Incumbent year rarely doesn't go to the incumbent. When it does it's usually due to a poor economy.. not helpful this cycle; or due to a nasty primary election for the incumbent.. not there.. or (like GHW Bush) a GE challenger spoiler (Ross Perot).. we don't have that either.

The odds are.. our candidate won't win. I don't say this to dissuade or discourage.. I say it because it means we really need a fire under our asses to fight like hell to get there.

I'm sick and disgusted with all the infighting while Tramp sits on the sidelines, growing a humongous war chest, and occasionally throwing his stanky orang monkey turds at our candidates one at a time..

Bloomberg may lose some base support, but if we keep going at each other the way the rest of our field is.. it won't matter anyway.

They should not be asked the same questions about health care that we have heard 100 times

Ask them how they would respond to each lie Trump told this, week.
Ask how they handle the problem of him denying justice in our courts.
Ask for the best planned attacks to knock him out.

I also don't want our candidates to attack each other. I think "attacks" hurt our chances.

But I don't agree with your point about "start focusing 100% on the removal of trump." That is the objective, of course, but our candidates have to distinguish themselves from each other along the way. It is apparent that Democrats have not yet reached consensus on who will be most likely to reach the objective.

They must continue to point out differences. I hope they can do so without attacking other candidates.

Instead of Bernie attacking Biden and vice versa on MFA vs enhanced ACA.. how about each attack Trump for his lack of any fucking plan at all on improving healthcare and sell their own version of it as they do it?? Better approach, no? Won't have Bernie pissing off Biden supporters, and won't have Biden pissing off Bernie supporters, but STILL gets their distinguishing platforms out there. Let's be real for a second here, unless the Senate also comes along with the Presidency, neither plan will come to fruition, and when we do have those numbers there's going to be some stanky concessions made to get the votes in the chambers to make it happen.. For the POTUS the ONLY thing that really matters is that the POTUS is someone that WILL sign off on the legislation, regardless of any imperfections, that is passed and fought for/championed by the Democratic Party led congress when we do have it.

And that's just the healthcare example.. They can stick to attacking Tramp AND still get their distinguishing platforms out there.

Almost at any cost.

I found it hard to endorse another billionaire and Mike comes with a little baggage some may not be able to get over. I researched him to the best of my meager ability came away with a different attitude, is he “perfect”? No, but who is?

Stingy with his money? Check out his organization.

Don't get me wrong, I love Joe, Elizabeth and Amy but beating Trump is my No 1 goal.

Trump hates being ridiculed and marginalized and that is exactly what the Democrats need to do to him. They need to poke him in such a way that he makes more and more mistakes. They need to poke bazooka size holes in all of his claims of what he has done or will to. Think short liar liar pants on fire ads that are quick, to the point and grabs your attention. They need to also go after his enablers.

The Democratic Party candidates need to be constantly attacking Trump and highlighting his weaknesses and stop attacking each other. I want them to convince me why they can beat Trump. Bloomberg doesn't waste time or money attacking the other candidates. For those who are concerned about the base be willing to vote for Bloomberg, that is where his VP choice might help deal with that issue.

The November elections should totally be in the bag for Democrats but, with the interference of the Rethugs in the primary process, foreign interference, Trump's continued destruction of our institutions and so on, Democrats have to pull together, stop any infighting and get behind the eventual nominee to win.

I switched over too because he is not attacking the Democrats. I only wish he would attack the traitors of the R party. But I like what he is doing and do not care if he is on any debate stage since trump don't want to be on one. Bloomberg is the one to do what I do not see the strength in our candidates doing right now.I think the closest is Pete and Amy.I hate that it looks like Liz and Joe is not getting their dew, but this is a desperate moment in our history and I have to do what I have to do. I try not to get attached to any of them so much because if it looks like they won't make it, I go to the ones who I think can. It will take someone as brass as Michael A who is in prison ,;but Bloomberg seems to be what the doctor ordered and I am so impressed with how he helped us with the blue wave. How can I not give him a second look.
