Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumIf you can't come here and talk about the candidate of your choice.
If you cant talk about their policy plans and ideas. I am left to assume youre working to re-elect trump.
We are completely screwed if he is re-elected. We can not help trump bash anyone on our side. It plays into trumpist hands. There is so much bulls it coming from the White House and traitor republicans.
STOP helping to re-elect the illegitimate orange garbage.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(47,399 posts)you're not concerned about Biden calling someone a "lying dog-face pony soldier"? Today, it would see that that is the most important issue of the election.
We know republicans and ratings hungry cable news shows will run that into the ground. It is disappointing to see it rehashed over and over again here of all places.

(47,399 posts)in an election, will find one or will turn an ordinary moment into one. The constant nitpicking turns politicians into scripted robots which turns voters off. I just hope Joe doesn't order Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard! It will all be over then for sure.

Yes, or no?
I would think by posting the above you did not post anything positive about any candidate at all.
Or, am I wrong again?

(8,810 posts)It is painfully obvious that after this past week and the months before that, the Republicans now feel vindicated and that they can legally and justifiably do any thing they F***ing want, legal or illegal............... No matter how despicable.....What they are doing and have been doing for decades is un-fathomable...........
To quote Nixon: "If the president does it, it is not illegal"................
A tsunami of Republican shit is coming, just wait a few days. (actually it has already started) Trump & Repubs are on a roll now, completely emboldened with no reservation or hesitations.......and it will only gain momentum every day from here on in.........
Trump and the current Repubs are a nasty spiteful vengeful group of mean psychopaths. Trump HAS ALREADY STARTED on his list aimed to completely anhilate anyone and everyone who has ever spoken out against him these past three years.......AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN A FEW DAYS.......
Forget about the election, the Republicans already emasculated the Federal Election Commission, it is a nothing now. There were three Federal groups investigating campaign election fraud, and Mitch defunded them, so they are gone forever. And this impeachment provided legal standing that a president can solicit anything and everything he wants from any and all foreign governments to aid in his election.....even countries that our enemies...........BARR AND RUDY HAVE ALREADY BEGUN DELIVERING TO THE U.S. SENATE FALSE CRAP FROM THE UKRAINE regarding BIDEN AND HIS SON, under their newly acquired power............

(5,378 posts)come here to discuss your candidate's policies and good points, but refrain from lifting him/her up by knocking others down.
It's way too early to pick your candidate now, anyway. You should be looking at their policies, and think about which will benefit the most people, and how they could be achieved.
In fact, take personality right out of your political inner deliberations, it's not a popularity contest, beauty contest or football game.
Ignore any negative posts, like:
"He sniffs girls' hair, weirdo, you can't vote for him!"
and
"She runs a child sex slave ring from the basement of a pizza parlor! You can't vote for Hillary!"
I'm going to ignore anything negative about any Dem candidate posted on this forum, and assume it's the usual outside influencers trying to stuff the next election up, just like they did the last one.
Who is with me?

(512 posts)Noob here but I definitely agree with this message in this stage of the election cycle. Have lurked for a bit before joining, but any divisiveness I see in social media and message boards does help the right. Im hoping to call out what I believe to be bully or troll threads...even from posters who have been on here for years. Cant trust anyone when so much is as stake.
