I think the scales are falling from many Democratic eyes in judging Sanders' campaign. There's actually real pushback against the smears this time out. This ain't 2016. We've seen this rodeo before. As for the Steiners? Most Dems have their number as well.

The fanatics will try to create chaos and disunity along with the trolls and bots. That's why Democrats need to hold together. The enemy and true threat is Donald Trump and his minions. We all need to remember that going forward.

Because losing in 2020 is not an option.

think it would be better for him not to finish second, as I fear we will see a repeat of 2016. I'm currently going through Rick Wilson's new book, and early on, it's fair to say that he has Bernie's number.

...loudly declare that they are not going to support the Democratic nominee in an effort to help Trump and sabotage the chances for Democrats to win. It is bullying. It is scorched earth. It is a movie that we have all seen before.

The reason is that Bernie's brand is built by painting the Democratic party and Republican party as the same. That is why he attacks them both:

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2020/01/17/trumps-racist-demagoguery-only-works-says-sanders-because-too-many-americans-feel

"How did Trump become president?" Sanders said. "I think it speaks to something that I talk about a lot and that is the fact that...tens and tens of millions of Americans feel that the political establishment, Republican and Democrat, have failed them. Maybe the New York Times has failed them, too."

Bernie is not trying to build a movement. He is trying to destroy one in order to elevate himself.

I was a strong Bernie supporter in 2016. I voted for him in the primary in Pa. even though he wasn't leading by then. This time, he's just too negative. I'm tired of DT saying all our Gov. Departments are bad, the Intelligence is bad, and I know more than the Generals I want an experienced person to take the helm of our Country and recreate the alliances DT has destroyed all over the World.

I don't see Bernie doing that. I hope he supports our Dem candidate, whoever it is.

Once again, Bernie has to apologize for something he knew nothing about but yet one of his surrogates said. How many times does that have to happe before someone asks who is actually capable of running a campaign, let alone a country!

Biden is a class act. B ernie's surrogates? Not so muc h.

@JoeBiden
Thanks for acknowledging this, Bernie. These kinds of attacks have no place in this primary. Let’s all keep our focus on making Donald Trump a one-term president.
