Why else would anyone say that the Democrats are "intellectually bankrupt" and "ideologically bankrupt"? Those types of smears and attacks only cause division and distrust. There's nothing factual about saying that Democrats are "ideologically bankrupt" or that the Democrats are the "party of the elite" and the "party of the one-percent". What exactly is factual about that? How is it factual to say that there's no difference between the Democrats and the GOP? What good purpose does it serve to tell those types of lies?

My last DU Primaries Post

Not much to say. I'm going to spend less time arguing with people I agree with 90% of the time on most issues, and more time doing constructive things like knocking on doors for Bernie -something I recommend all to do if you haven't done so already for your respective candidate. In just a little over 30 days, the first state will choose a candidate, and in most cases that person has had a good chance of becoming the nominee. After my state votes, I am prepared to support whoever is ahead in delegates at the time, and hoping that a clear decision is made as early as possible. Good luck to everybody in this upcoming year -may we defeat the ulcer who hijacked our white house, and may we restore honor and integrity back to our country's reputation. Happy New Year!!

Because Bernie 'Constitutionally Incapable of Sucking Up,' Anti-Corruption Champion Zephyr Teachout Endorses Sanders

"That's why people love him," says progressive activist and legal scholar. "They know he'll always be on the side of the little guy against big agriculture, big banks, big pharma, big tech, hate, and fear."

https://www.commondreams.org/news/2019/12/27/because-bernie-constitutionally-incapable-sucking-anti-corruption-champion-zephyr

Lie! Bernie is not on my side when it comes to hate. He's on my list.

"Sanders is totally committed to changing the way we fund campaigns, getting billionaires and big corporations out of the way of democracy. He supports Democracy Vouchers, where everybody gets money to contribute. And he has the movement to back it up!"

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/zephyr-teachout-endorses-bernie-sanders-2020-democratic-presidential-primary_n_5e0649fcc5b6b5a713adf893?ncid=engmodushpmg00000004

Democracy Vouchers....for all! Add it to the pile.

Some of Teachout's donors also gave to super PACs

"The National Republican Congressional Committee names 16 people it says donated to Teachout’s campaign and to super PACs. We found the donors in Teachout’s campaign finance filings. Altogether, the 16 donors have given $67,300 to Teachout. That’s about 2 percent of the $3.2 million she has raised, according to her latest filing.

The 16 Teachout contributors who gave money to super PACs contributed at least $61 million to super PACs. Two donated $10,000 or less to super PACs. In 2016, seven of the donors gave to super PACs. The other nine did not.

Among the 16 donors are billionaire George Soros and members of his family."

https://www.politifact.com/new-york/statements/2016/oct/20/national-republican-congressional-committee/some-teachouts-donors-also-gave-super-pacs/

So much for getting billionaires and big corporations out of the way of democracy.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Bernie proves once again that he isn't a democrat. In fact, he has said it himself many times. We should believe him.

progressive taxation and a shopping list. He wants to build an economic infrastructure by moving piles of money.

If he doesn't seize assets, then he is going to have to tax wages.

Democrats have to actually come up with policy and legislation that will pass. Bernie should go back to throwing bombs from the sidelines on a radio program.

Biden's is basically tweak and improve ACA with Presidential actions and try to push some legislation. Try to push. Because he acknowledges there's obstacles.

Bernie's is M4A. The most humongous and best thing ever! What's his plan to pass it? Magic fairy dust revolution.

It's a con. But it allows him to occupy the moral high ground of 'mine's better' and as you say, throw bombs.
