1/ I have been a Bernie supporter since 2015, worked for 2 different presidential campaigns since then but was still feeling the bern. I respect his consistency fighting for the working class and if he ultimately becomes the nominee I will support him in the general. However...
2/ Tonight I am announcing my support for @AndrewYang. After watching detailed interviews, carefully reviewing his platform and talking to his super cool supporters. I am officially joining the #YangGang🧢. Its time to Make America Think Again. This week...
I will share more details about how I came to this decision and his platform but to sum it up. I believe that @AndrewYang has the economic policies, platform and forward vision to move this country not farther to left or right but forward. His UBI plan would be a game changer...
I grew up poor, didnt realize how poor I was until I got older because I had a great, super strong mom. But I can only imagine how different life would have been with UBI. I believe it is the best way forward to uplift and give a boost to POC, in addition to some of his other...
Progressive policy proposals. $15 minimum wage is good, FJG are good, M4A is good but all of these things will take time and still will leave so many without the assistance they desperately need. Everybody is not able to work traditional jobs or have the same living expenses...
UBI is the way to go. Thats why Dr. King advocated for it, and other respected leaders here and around the world. Automation is taking over most of our major industries and the majority of people are living paycheck to paycheck. @AndrewYang is the only candidate for UBI.
President Obama called him a Champion of Change. He is a numbers/tech guy. Hes charismatic, very personable and hes only 45. He and his brave wife can give us 8 strong years of moral and compassionate leadership, just like Barack and Michelle. Thats why Im with #Yang2020.
Finally let me add that the #YangGang are some of the coolest, smartest people Ive ever conversed with on social media. They are passionate but civil and they make you feel like family. It says a lot about the culture their candidate and campaign has created.

(38,958 posts)Been following and supporting Andrew Yang since the autumn of 2018 when I saw him speak on C-Span Book TV from the Brooklyn Book Festival in a panel on the Future of the Workplace. Didn't know a thing about him prior to that, but found his webpage and the extensive list of well thought out policy proposals and just went this is The Guy!
I send what I can, when I can to his campaign and have my official Yang 2020 coffee mug.

(115,103 posts)Hadn't been aware of UBI before that. I started reading more and more about it and then someone mentioned that we had a candidate who was supporting it. I then saw a few long form interviews, listened to his book (on YouTube ) and that was it.
I have a hat, bumper sticker, and a shirt. And stickers. And buttons.
Last week I had a trucker honk his horn at me, smiling and saving and gesturing toward my bumper sticker. Made my day!
