NBC News: Biden released memo to media warning against spreading misinfo about Ukraine
Heidi Przybyla ✔ @HeidiNBC
NEW TO @NBCNews
In a pre-emptive strike, Biden sends unusual open memo to the media warning against disinformation pushed by the president and his defenders
w @mikememoli
The memo, first obtained by NBC News, is also a shot across the bow of Republican senators as they consider whether to entertain Trump's demands to call Hunter Biden, Joe Biden's son, as a witness in the trial.
Trump has been "spreading a malicious and conclusively debunked conspiracy theory" that "Biden engaged in wrongdoing when he executed official United States policy to remove a corrupt prosecutor from office," the campaign said in the memo.
Daria Kaleniuk, Anti-Corruption Action Ctr in Ukraine director, said it was "unethical" for Hunter to trade on his father's ...position by serving on Burisma's board. But Biden "did the opposite" of helping Burisma by demanding the resignation of a "corrupt prosecutor," she said.

Biden campaign warns against media use of Trump disinformation on impeachment
A campaign memo warns against the spread of "malicious and conclusively debunked" theories about the Bidens by Trump allies.

It just sickens me when I think about the depths to which GOPers stoop for political gain.

If he released it to the media, how does the media "obtained" it become news?
