it in South. I'm hoping he picks a running mate from South too. One that is a fighter and can go on trail and rally young voters.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Val Demmings is a former cop and from.the very part of Florida that we need to turn out to win. Florida is very much in play and it's why Trumps HQ is there. We win there. It's over

became close, trusted friends, and Obama gave him a weighty portfolio to handle, one earned by his experience and abilities. Not just any sensible and admirable but ultimately political pick would do.

This may be no longer be a consideration as 4 dramatic years have passed, but I believe we should at least keep in mind that, when he was considering running in 2015, he reportedly wanted Elizabeth Warren as his one choice to be what he was to Obama, to the point that they met to discuss it while he was considering running.

Btw, probably one of the reasons Biden is so popular in the south is that Delaware has strong "southern" roots, as well as northern, and he has natural association and identification in both directions, at least as far as local southerners see him. His preference for getting along and building bridges with everyone is seemingly both inborn and ingrained.

they're different people. Warren would bring...herself to the job. Apparently he really liked what he saw that as being at one time, though. I'm with you in choosing to be fine with whomever he chooses, but on the face of it they strike me as both a reassuringly compatible but also excitingly complementary pair.

We live in interesting times, and at least this subject is an interestingly positive one full of possibilities.

But I see these poll numbers as horrible for Biden.

He has the inside track, money, and still can't dominate the polls. Just kind of eek past his opponents.

From where I sit, it's a harbinger of bad news
