9% is really good for this board considering all of the negative information that gets posted here.

...(just up 0.50) to finally get up to "9%" he only had to go up a mere 0.16.

On the other hand, here's Biden's numbers:

However, if one candidate did receive any benefit from Harris's exit, that candidate was -- you guessed it -- Joe Biden.
Biden's numbers definitely took a bump at the start of December, climbing almost a full percentage point from 13.42% on December 2 to 14.24% on December 6. Biden closes out December on 14.63%.

I'm holding off on deciding until the last debate. I've always been a Vote Blue No Matter Who, gal. I've got some health issues going on, so I think that's why I'm not feeling fired up these days. Pretty sure once those issues are resolved, and I'm released for normal activity, I'll be chomping at the bit to hit the pavement and phones for our nominee.

18. I have been surprised at how stable the numbers have been over the last few months
Sat Jan 4, 2020, 12:16 PM
Jan 2020

From memory, I have seen him at 8 all month. So, there is an uptick.

The link posted from a post below on this thread - contains this relevant passage:

" And there was another candidate on the move in December -- Bernie Sanders. Sanders started December on 7.84% and finishes half a percentage point up at 8.34%. This does not seem to be related to Kamala Harris dropping out -- he didn't receive a significant bump in the first week of December -- but Bernie has been slowly gaining ground for a while now."

Note that ENTIRE December interval would be shown as 8. It is an increase of 1/2 a point over December. With the current 9%, Bernie moved from 7.84% to some number in the interval (8.5 to 9.49). His January gain - so far - is at least .66 % (8.5 - 7.84). Given how the DU chart works, it is more likely that he just gained a new person who put him above 8.5. This means his total gain since December 1 is 1.16

It is also interesting that Biden gained 1.21 (14.63 - 13.42) in December. His percent still registers as 15 today, so the minimum Biden gain from December 1 until today is 1.08 (14.5 - 13.42) at a minimum.

Now, let's consider the political leanings of DU. Since it started, it has been more to the left and more progressive than the democratic base. That Sanders is at less than 20% of the decided DU 'voters' does not bode well for him. Warren has more than twice his share of DU and while he had a small gain and she has had a small decline, she still is the one in that lane with the most support on DU.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
