Buttigieg shows signs of emerging from the Democratic pack

"SNIP.....

Democrats once skeptical of the mayor with a hard-to-pronounce name are taking notice.

“A couple of weeks ago I wasn’t giving him any attention at all, in part because I didn’t think he had a chance, but I am getting more and more intrigued,” said Jim Manley, the Democratic strategist and longtime Senate veteran.

“The Buttigieg Boomlet is real,” added Democratic strategist Christy Setzer. “He’s everywhere, he’s authentic and he’s interesting and counterintuitive in his message — all of which makes him both a media darling and a serious source of intrigue for primary voters.”

......SNIP"

His counter-intuitiveness is so freeing and refreshing.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

"Doing a lot of events and interviews that are getting him great press and I think you're now seeing that cumulative effect starting to carry over into his poll numbers"

And I will write a separate OP as to why that is working from a PR perspective, since it applies to all candidates, in faxt it applies to most.of the people who see on TV.

primary today, I would vote for:

.the more I see/hear the more I like. And from what I'm hearing, I'm not the only one even among people who unlike me aren't political junkies.

Also, the recent uptick in posts on here crying about how we need someone who will be ready on day one, or "knows their way around such a high office" seem to me to be in reaction to a lot of his positive press and increasing national profile. And as far as I'm concerned, anyone that is scaring the ones who most stand to gain from status quo talk is the one who automatically interests me.

primary today, I would vote for:
