(2,706 posts)Slow and steady wins the race.
Amy is smart, talented, moderate, and checks both the Midwest and female boxes for those who need those particular marks.
She would make a fine part of the ticket, in either slot.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden

(94,501 posts)Her trajectory isnt rising at a rate that will put her in contention by Caucus night(min 15% needed for viability)

(2,706 posts)Joe/Amy makes the most sense.
I could also see Joe/Abrams.
It wont be Joe/Pete. He will be under tremendous pressure to pick a female VP and Amy makes the most sense in terms of ideology and Midwest roots.

(28,817 posts)I also think four years of VP for Pete would be wonderful.
And I honestly think its just as much a candidate like Petes time in history as it is a womans.
Sorry to my sisters out there. Its just an opinion. No reason to take offense.

Biden will need to pick a younger female VP, just as Obama picked an elder statesman.
Two men on the ticket wont fly this year. And Im a guy.

(63,901 posts)Klobuchar might be good on a ticket with Cory Booker. It would show the nexus of urban communities with those struggling white communities in the midwest.

(1,288 posts)I'd liked her all along, but realized at the last debate that I really trust her stability/instincts/knowledge/energy, agree with her approach on health care, and think she may be the most electable candidate in a general election.
But, I wonder if there's something about a lack of dynamism in her presentation that's keeping her down among the primary candidates. I'd like her to win, but I'm skeptical that a distant 5th in Iowa, when she's from the next state over, will translate into strong finishes in the super Tuesday states.

(1,278 posts)Joe Biden - President
Kamala Harris - Vice President
Amy Klobuchar - Attorney General
I can live with Kamala and Amy switching positions.
Plus this gets Al Franken back where he belongs, the Senate.
California has a deep bench too.
