A few years back one big guy from there ran for the US Senate or Governor (not Patrick). The guy was a well known liberal and supported liberal causes.

If you are going to throw out liberals that work(ed) Bain, you might as well ditch Steyer and Soros, both had some less savory patches in their Finance careers.

In 2014 Deval Patrick fired leaders of his state's Sex Offender Registry for trying to force his brother in law to register due to being convicted of rape in California in 1993.
