The Hard Truth about Biden and I Love Saying It:

He can beat Donald J. Trump on any day of the week. I'll be voting for him next November, I'm quite certain. He'll win the Democratic nomination, because of my first statement. That's the most important thing to know about Joe Biden. Not his age. Not his son. Not anything else. He can beat Trump. "Like a drum" as he so charmingly says.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

knowledge, experience, and world-stage stature to right the ship of state, allay the fears of our allies, and send a tough, unwavering message to our enemies.

World leaders wanted him to run. He is running, and he’s Trump and Putin’s worst nightmare.

World leaders tell Biden: We need you
The former vice president would bring deep relationships and heavyweight credentials to a 2020 Democratic field lacking in national security experience.
By DANIEL LIPPMAN 03/20/2019 05:04 AM EDT

When Joe Biden attended the annual Munich Security Conference last month, the wonky foreign policy confab promised an escape from the nonstop speculation back home about the former vice president’s political plans.

Snip—————————————

Instead, Biden’s 2020 intentions were the talk of the conference.
A former Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman, Biden has specialized in foreign policy for decades — a key reason why Barack Obama, who had modest credentials of his own in that realm as a freshman senator, tapped Biden to be his 2008 running mate. As vice president, Biden was Obama’s ever-present adviser on world affairs and played a leading role in their adminstration's Iraq and Ukraine policies.

Even some prominent conservatives concede that Biden would bring to the campaign a formidable depth of knowledge of global events, especially compared to his would-be Democratic rivals.

Joe Biden will beat Donald Trump which is why Trump and his enablers have tried so hard to derail the man. In addition, Biden has the experience and the chops to repair and restore our institutions and agencies, heal our battered alliances abroad and get on with the business of the important work needed on major issues: healthcare, climate change, gun regulation, etc.

He'll be ready on Day 1 because he brings a lifetime of on-the-ground knowledge and expertise to the mess created by Trumpism.

Biden was made for this moment.
