The problem is a bunch of people in America have jobs that actually pay a good chunk of their health insurance so its not overwhelming, then you have another bunch of people paying thousands per month for crappy insurance.

So when you equal it all out a lot of people would pay less in their monthly costs but what would happen to the people whose employers are paying most of it? That is why she doesn’t want to say taxes might go up for them.

I love her but she needs to find a better way to explain how her plan is paid. I am confused on it myself being covered by a good union and lucky we pay little.

This is the only thing that a lot of people are not sure of with her so she needs to be more clear.

They are obscene, especially when you remember that they are squeezing blood out of their customers. I worked in Health Insurance for 40 years, and the folks who made it all happen - the claims processors and their support teams were way down at the other end of the salary scale Also as one of my old team leaders used to say "Shit always runs downhill, and claims is always at the bottom"

I said before this was coming. This is the beginning. You'll note Yang brought up the problems with a Wealth Tax, how many of the European countries have rescinded theirs in a favor of a Value Added Tax. Why? Because implementation and enforcement of the Wealth Tax proved too costly and the revenues were far lower than expected.

What is most apparent tonight is that Elizabeth Warren is not accustomed to being challenged. It shows and not in a good way. Amy K and Mayor Pete are doing a very good job pushing back.

Interesting night!

The question becomes whether this hurts her, or if any hit she takes is short-lived like it was for Biden in the first debate. It’s hard to tell if more people are paying attention because we’re closing in on actual voting, or if fewer people are listening because a) they’re tired of debates and b) 12 is too many people on stage. Polling trends over the next few weeks will be telling.

I like her (she’s my second favorite) but she needs the practice defending her positions if she’s going to be our nominee.

Big pharma pays the bills at so many channels, of course she got hammered into the question of taxes upon the middle class for a soundbite. I’m going to look at her plan more closely.
