The crowd didn't quite fill the venue, which surprised me. But what they lacked in number, they more than made up with cheers and general noise, all of it enthusiastic.

I was in the first row and that was amazing.

I’m so pleased you were able to spend time in the presence of this wonderful human being. Pete Buttigieg reminds me of one of those illuminated rectangles some folks have released to the sky.

18. Definitely the most intelligent of all the candidates.

His only drawback, that I can think of, is his being Mayor of a small city in Indiana. Not much experience with government, not much exposure, but charismatic, super intelligent and a hard worker. He's the future of the party, that's for sure.
