Went to see Kamala Harris in Coralville, IA this evening

small venue, good crowd, people of all ages and pretty diverse for Iowa.

Overall, good speech, good answers to questions people asked, and generally a positive experience.

primary today, I would vote for:

I know she has gone down in the polls, but I do not put much stock in the polls. She has what it takes to be president, and she isn't giving up. I admire her very much, and still think she has a chance to be the nominee.

and almost no one I know answers their phone when they don't know who is on the other end.

I really liked her, but I've thought that Warren/Harris would be my preference for a while.

I really like her, but I think she’s running a poor campaign. I hope her new focus on Iowa pays off.

And yeah, a Warren/Harris ticket would be very nice.

that would be the perfect job.

Looks like she's got what it takes to straighten the place out.

that the candidates have to be able to create and run, and most of them haven't done that before.

Their winning candidacy is of course its one big product, and their startup really needs to be successfully running and growing before the voters even hear about it.

Who was crushed the morning after 2016 election partially to find out that making history got Trumped.
Yet I believe it would be all that much more appropriate, and circumstantially novel:

If finally, one whole century past the suffrajettes won their rights to vote:
We finally elected a female president.
It's not why I support either one, their platforms simply make good progressive sense. Let's make history, lets make the future generations proud we averted disaster, lets get 'Murica educated, and quit all that "reach across the isle" lukewarm nonsense that solves exactly:
