Subsidized child care is the topic of this piece. I believe this is something that is sorely needed in the USA. And I would go one step further, and give stay-at-home moms a stipend, too. I know they do this in Canada but am not sure if any other country does.

I also like the Universal Basic Income as suggested by Andrew Yang. These are all things for which we should strive.

...give people something to get excited about. The audacity of hope instead of the audacity of "Well maybe we can find a reasonable way to do something, but not too much because how will we pay for it and it's best not to get our hopes up because we'll just face roadblocks from Republicans and....."
