I think Eugene Robinson really nailed it this morning speaking to the pragmatism of the AA community in general from his own journalist/writer perspective. Basically, the electability factor is Biden's strength. For those who see Trump as a clear and present danger? Joe Biden is the man.

Joe's relationship with President Obama certainly strengthens that hand but the lead factor is who has the best chance of beating Donald Trump. Which is why the harsh criticism of Biden swinging at Trump, making Trump the centerpiece of his campaign during the primary is (IMHO) badly mistaken. 2020 will ultimately be a referendum on Trump and Trumpism; it's the only thing that will bring the man and his slimy enablers down.

That being said if Kamala Harris or Cory Booker can demonstrate a surprising win say in Iowa, then the dynamic could change quickly. However, it's notable that Barack Obama was doing much better in the AA polling at this point in the primary than either Harris or Booker are doing now. HRC was leading but Barack Obama was not lagging in the single digits. After Iowa, Obama's numbers really took off but he already had a firm foundation of support. These numbers are increasingly important since the AA vote represents 25% of Democratic voters.

In addition to the AA vote, Joe Biden has strong ties to white working-class voters and has a real shot at bringing home the Rust Belt electorate. His recent polls in Michigan and Ohio are impressive; his ties to Pennsylvania are a known strength.

We shall see. This week's debates will be interesting to say the least.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

he wouldn't have without all those years of experience and qualifications of being President Obama's VP.. and his years of being in the Senate learning more invaluable insights and knowledge.. making friends!

He(Biden) can step in and become President.

Someone who is independent enough who can pushback and give me perspective and catch any blind spots I may have..

Somebody who in his heart cares about the American People and the American Dream and is willing to fight for them as hard as he can
