I just decided to support Kamala Harris.

I have been an ardent supporter for the soft-spoken, incredibly intelligent and utterly wholesome Mayor Pete.

However, the past few days have given me pause, and I find myself wanting a tough woman to take on the monster in our White House. Let’s hope we can beat back the rising tide of fascism in this country!

I have narrowed my choice down to 3 people.
Butt, I have a very big butt. If one of the other 17 really really impresses me, I might postpone my decision until the September debates.

wins statewide in Texas prior to going Nation wide. Until a Dem can win statewide in Texas I don't think you can give a Dem Texan a spot on the Ticket unless he/she wins the nomination outright.

Not even the Republicans have given the VP spot to a Texan. LBJ was the last Texas wing man. But he was a beast in the Senate. Neither Beto nor Julian strike me as much beyond district players for now. We need heavy hitters.

is it because you like them, their ideas or you believe they can win the Electoral College which is state by state?

I want someone who can take on Trump, be fierce in the debates with him, have liberal ideas and plans to implement them, and have a campaign strategy to win the Electoral College. I also want her to work on eliminating the EC when in office.

It doesn't have to be one or the other.

She is probably one of the best choices. She has a stage presence that many of the other candidates lack. This is going to be important when taking on Trump.
