Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumThe Sanders campaign compared Bidens healthcare plan to 42 Sept 11th terrorist attacks.
Sanders is telling people that Biden and Trump are the same when it comes to healthcare. A number of his top advisors relentlessly attack the party and direct people to vote for third parties. We know that a couple of them truly helped to elect Trump. There were much bigger reasons that Trump won but they played their own role.
There is no doubt he is running a scorched earth campaign. Biden is their current target.
So how is this going to work? What is his end game? It makes little sense.
Someone posted a link to Sanders website today and it was who said it, Biden or Trump?I was taken back a bit by it. I cant imagine supporting that. I started looking around and his campaign is going after Biden in some highly questionable ways. Its clearly a strategy from the top.
I wasnt aware they were being this aggressive. Really interesting seeing this tactic. They no longer seem to be going for a larger audience. Im guessing that the campaign tactic is simple. Muddy the water.
Note: If there is anything incorrect with my subject line or first paragraph please let me know. I have tried to be fair and accurate with a tactic Im seeing them use.

(4,951 posts)person who deleted it may be the person who posted it. I think your understanding is incorrect and I didnt support it nor do I support this post about an anonymous person posting a photo of what they claim is a tweet that is no where to be found.
But whatever. No wonder trolls were able to influence so many. People really dont care if its factual at all as long as it supports their bias.

(4,951 posts)re healthcare in our country and Biden's plan which leaves many people out of healthcare. We already know the facts about how many people die from lack of healthcare and that is what the quote from the policy paper was referring to. The slant of the OP was not an accurate portrayal of what was being referenced.
I have no problem with someone saying that 153% more people died in the Iraq War than in 9/11. It reflects on my feeling that we should be outraged at both - but to not be outraged at the deaths in the Iraq War with the same sense of horror is odd to me.
If a certain number of people (in this case 10 million) are uninsured and 45,000 people each year die directly related to lack of healthcare - then we should be as outraged at this as we are about 9/11 many times over.
That is what I keep my outrage for.
I'm sure this is falling on deaf ears. As does the fact that a profit based healthcare system is immoral and I cannot accept anyone dying because of lack of healthcare - which falls on way too many deaf ears.
No matter as I said before. You just have a great day!

The one in question appears to have been deleted. But, he posted these yesterday, too - all variations of the one above. I hope they remain at least long enough for people here to see them:

As long as we all vote Democratic at the end of the day. A workable federal medical system is way, way overdue. And if the Democratic president we vote in isn't far left enough, we will push her there.

(1,810 posts)Sirota has been relentlessly attacking Biden over healthcare. Following those attacks, Sanders then puts up on his website something that is reflective of Sirota's previous and ongoing attacks. Clearly coordinated. If it's from the top down, who is the trainwreck?
