but I think he's had enough time to break out, and I just don't see a path where he does.

He'd probably be better off reconsidering a Senate run in 2020.

Beto is needed at the national level and will help flip Texas Blue and put the White House completely out of reach for Trump.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

apparently the national level doesn't think it needs him.

You can't flip Texas blue if you can't get over 2 percent in polling and raise about as much money as Corey Booker does.

Clinton was always in the top two and came this close to winning.
Lieberman was on top for what a couple of months and then he too fell down precipitously.

But please, the number of folks who come from 1-2 percent in the polling at this point, and not just one poll, consistently over several months...to winning the presidential nomination is a very very very small number.

Tell ya what...1000 bucks to your favorite charity, 10 bucks to my favorite charity that O'Rourke doesn't even reach the top five at any point in the future. Deal?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nationwide_opinion_polling_for_the_2016_Republican_Party_presidential_primaries

In the month of July 2015 he ranged from a low of 13 percent to a high of 31 percent (2X) in a total of 18 polls taken in the month of July 2015.

His polling average of those 18 polls was: 21 percent.

So, no, not around 2 percent.

And he was the front runner in 15 of those 18 polls.

By fall especially, they should be paring down minor candidate participation.

There are just too many people, if the minor candidates want to keep playing president, that’s fine, but I think it is critical to get the candidates with a real chance on the stage together.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Good for Beto!

I am not buying it.

I support him for a lot of reasons...but if I had to pick one word...Hope. I don't get even a sliver of that from any of the others. Not even a drop. After Trump...America NEEDS hope.
