The hidden racism is no longer hidden.
They feel empowered now that they have one of their own in the White House.

the outcome of the primaries. Trump’s encouragement of racism and xenophobia and our need to fight against these for “the soul of America” was Joe’s theme right out the gate.

His foreign policy speech also warns us of how xenophobia and nationalism, those intertwined
malignancies, are on the rise internationally, where anti-democracy and anti-liberal forces (helped by Putin) are gaining political ground.

Marine Le Pen has a foothold in France now and could be its next president.Trump loves her. So does Putin.

He wants to divide the wing of the party who are more aligned with the four women and the more traditional wing of the party.
He would just love for Democrats to fuss and for some supporters of for example Bernie or Warren to be so upset that they stay home.

Racism is NOW on the Ballot. More women from all backgrounds should decide to run for Office. If we elect more women to the House, and Senate, we will win. The White House too if the Nominee be Harris or Warren. Democrats now have an issue to use against ALL Republicans running for office.

Republicans who do not grow a backbone will be put on notice if they do not come out in numbers to condemn Trump for these tweets. This is a teachable moment right now for them. They remain quiet, they are complicit with him.

This is not about JB. Any time someone uses these time worn phrases, they WEAKEN the message.

The same applies to a politician, a speaker at a high school graduation or William Shakespeare.

ON EDIT: Here is an example--

@RepJayapal
"Your cruelty is sickening. Your egotism is laughable. And you are going to successfully turn millions of Americans into supporters of your opponent in 2020 with these disgusting attacks. You are a disgrace to our country and our values."

If you put, "let's be clear," in front of that statement, it weakens it, takes some of the sting out.
